I’m particularly interested in the 21700 platform. The mAh capacity is considerable (if they test out to be accurate) and a 21700 light can accommodate a 20700 cell with a wrapper or thin shim. Bring it on!

Why do so many people prefer OEM?

They might be afraid to find a Ultrafire 18650 in a cardboard tube under the wrap.
I also would rather have the reference print from the original wrap at glance, and the rewrap looks tacky imo (although this has little importance)
I guess I don’t see the point of the extra expense of a rewrap. Like JamesB said, I’d prefer to know definitively what the cell is.
