Ultrafire UF-T70 Triple XM-L

i also have tk70 and 4 random triple cee xml s so i feel i am a reasonable judge . i would say its a winner build quality amazing i never use them for long so not sure how hot it gets but for a living i am a chimney sweep so i feel i know much more about spill and contrast between hot spot than many users but lack in depth knwledge on testing output , and yes i have terrible grammer but just back from pub so its a very bright whits not blue but compared to say tk35 its very white , in fact due to deeper reflectors its very simular to the tk35 beam pattern , i have the sky ray 5 xml and i would say this is now my best light in fact i will sell my tk70 with batts if any one wants it pretty cheap with good batts , oh one negative the battery unit has springs both ends i guess for flat top cells one of them bust off when i tried to remove a battery but still works with my cells , in the past people have complained about my posts i dont mind doing some pics and answering questions but please ignore this poste rather than replying with some over critical response

Ordered !

You need to spend 25 bucks on a light meter and supply us with information on all your lights! Sealed

Will the Dry Drivers with Step-Down fit in this light?

The DRY drivers are on the small size, among 3xT6 drivers.

Without seeing the light, I would guess a very firm 'probably'

Go on then, post some pics! :) Also could describe how the modes car changed on the torch?

Edit: Tried ordering one but it costs extra $20 to ship to uk! Sigh, group buy anyone?

After seeing the pictures on Ric's site, I think that this is a very nice and well build light so I couldn't resist and just ordered one.

Just minutes after placing the order, I already got a message from Ric that it will be shipped so excellent service, thanks Ric!

I think I would like to have this light too. But how will group buy work? I'm from germany.

I have started a group buy thread to gauge interest :)

Anyone got it yet?

I'd love to see some beamshots against DRY, all modes etc.

2.6A to the LED. From my experience and also with the LED calculator's help, i am expecting 1950 lumens OTF to 2100 lumens OTF. OTF - Out the front.

BTW, the LED arrangement looks like the RRT-3....emitters are oriented more to the centre and together. Not as clustered together as the RRT-3, but it is no DRY. Reflector diameter size is similar to RRT-3 as well, maybe a hair smaller.

asd

how is the first, second, third, fourth one called? ^^

I just tossed my hat in the feeler thread. Thanks

Jetbeam RRT-3, TrustFire TR-3T6, Niteye EYE-30, Nitecore TM11

im expecting the T70 to have a similar beam pattern to the RRT3 actually but who knows.

Here's another competitor: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?332358-Review-of-ThruNite-pre-production-3-XML-light-with-measurements-and-outdoor-beamshots

so it has high low and crazy fast strobe . once you tighten the tail cap the mode is locked, the low is about 180 to 220 lumens which is a guess

This one kind of looks like what most probably wanted the DRY to look like. It definitely has nice style but it won't put as much light out as the DRY and most people here won't have the desire nor have the experience to switch drivers. I think the price in combination with high output of the DRY is still a winner for a group buy so don't be kicking yourself like you missed out on a better deal. Now if this light had been released at the same time with a similar driver then I'm sure there would have been very little contest :)

I would buy this over the any day. You can always change the driver.

This is sweet. The dry is still Ugly.
