Best solution would be thermal kit similar to S2+ thermal kit,or at least approximation.
Silicone cubes may work if you don't bypass springs and use 10Amp discharge batteries.

Yes, thermal kit would be the best, thats for sure. If the thin retaining of kiriba-ru works well i will go for the s2+ with the thermal kit.
BTW thermal adhesive (artic alumina) works for glue the aluminum to pill ? or this change the measures?

Thermal sheets are not adhesive, their purpose is to fill small air gaps between contact surfaces.
Total thickness is such that everything fits tightly into host for best thermal transfer.

Look a bit tall, so i don´t know if will work good. In the images looks like at least 2x tall of the regular ring but I may be wrong.

Inner hole is 16mm.
As you can understand there is not enough place to make holes (similar to the stock ring) for unscrewing, so they are changed with milled cuts.
Also, stock ring height is not enough for such cuts, thats why custom rings are taller.
Ring height is 3mm.
Ring OD is less than 18mm. So it can easily enter any 18650 battery tube.
The only issue (contacting cell outer heatshrink/isolator) may be met if you dont use positive (driver) spring.

great explanation, i undertand you. So, if i undertand correct there is no problem at all because the driver ring don´t touch with the 18650 tube, so the flahslight screw in normally.

led4power, I have ILC-1 and Convoy S2+. However it does not fit into tailcap. There is no thread left for a retaining ring:
Other side:
Transparent washer is just for protection during transport! ILC-1 should be installed without any washer.
