[GB ended,discussion only] CRI > 80+ NICHIA 2000K-6500K [E21A/219B/219C/319A/144A/757GT-F1(Optisolis)]

Thatā€™s why Iā€™d still be tempted.

 Jeroen, we were talking about NCSx219B. Not NVSx219B.
Die size:
NVSx319A > NVSx219D > NVSx219C > NVSx219B > NCSx219B

I would be in for more 219B SW45 R9080. I would also be interested in 219C 4500k if that is available.

I went crazy on 11-11 and got a 2000K striplight and 2000K car-bulbs for later scavenging. Weā€™ll seeā€¦

Canā€™t find the 1800K Stanley LED, at least not without paying 2Ɨ more in shipping than the LEDs cost. Youā€™d think they were ExplodingFire rewrapped Li cells or something.

219C sm45x only available up to R8000

BTW Kyle, have you checked my PM?

Aha, i see.
Never knew what those letters meant t.b.hā€¦

ā€¦but, but, but, i think i would want them to have a lot of deep red though, so R9080 or better is highly preferable.
because such warm white should resemble a dimmed tungsten bulb, or a carbon filament, or a candle or kerosene lamp.
Cozy.

I know, I know. You didnā€™t like that 3pak of superwarm Nichias at Fasttech, either.

In for 10-20 pcs.

SOLD

OK, I decided to sell this Tiara C1 Pro. I modified it right off the box, only simple LED swap to 219C sm4070e R9050 and changed the TIR optics (bigger and even hotspot than the OEM).
The reason: Iā€™m getting used to my 144AM sm573 R9050 worklamp and the non removable magnet USB charger is somewhat annoying. It sticks to any ferrous stuff on my messy bench too often. Iā€™m sure other will love this feature.

The glass lens isnā€™t included. I broke it to safely remove the bezel with very little damage. Without the glass itā€™s far more resilient (once the glass break water will seep instantly).

Youā€™ll find it in my store (if someone donā€™t get it while I type in here). Price is USD 65 + 5 (shipping)

sm5770e or sm5750e? The latter is the most consistent (less variation between batches) and tighter than even 3 steps, while still below the green zone.

For me 5750e is perfect please (which is mostly the Cree 2D tint). I only like rosy in warm yellowish tints, but in cool tints for me too rosy is just as bad as too green or blue, it must be near true white (the R9050 must make the colours, not the tint).

Totally agree about this. Not many people are like us Jos. This the same way of thinking. High CRI should be as close as possible to true natural colour IMHO.
Any other thoughts? If itā€™s possible Iā€™ll try to accommodate both ā€œrosyā€ and ā€œneutralā€ fan. Any ā€œgreenā€ fan around?

Sorry to disappoint you guys. Nichia just dropped my request. 3 steps is the best we can get. The special order request is just too small for such a tight bin :frowning:
And Iā€™m not going to purchase a full reel of sm5750e D220 9050 219C (the flux rank available for that bin)
Letā€™s drink the beer

Pity, but it is already awesome what you achieved thusfar in getting premium Nichia leds for us mere hobbyists!

Letā€™s see how long I can supply these exotic Nichias. There are rules to be followed ā€¦ :frowning:
This was really just a hobby for me too. But I have to turn it into professional manufacturing to keep it going.

Iā€™ll take 7 of the 219B sw45k R9080.

Or do I have to wait until a new thread is posted?

Clemence has a website now where the leds can be bought: www.virence.com

I checked that first, they are listed as out of stock, so no preorder option? https://www.virence.com/blank-rwrlr/nvsl219bt-v1
