I take it the code is no longer applicable. Tried it and did not work.

I will check it.

It still doesn’t work…don’t know if you tried to fix it. Just an FYI.

Ordered this BEAUTIFUL ! Light.

BTW- the discount code worked for me

I made a purchase a couple days ago with the code and it worked. I try to make another purchase now and it won’t.

I was about to send paypal to Rey but I have to pay a blackfriday deal for flashlight which is in my wish list for long time :person_facepalming:

Let’s collect mwoar money :crown:

Ok I guess I wont buy another one.

the code GL497KM4 works for me… maybe you have a typo?

Via copy/paste, so…no.

Is the code limited to one use per account?

Amazon

Just checked, the code was for one use one account only. But fixed now.

hello:

i have received my light, and it is lovely looking and even teenier than i thought.

however, this is my first “twistie” flashlight, so i wonder if you could post a bit about how to operate most effectively.
i’ve pretty much figured it out, but would love to have simple step by step instructions.
for example: are folks able to operate this one handed? because the twisting action seems way
to “tight” to do this. or will the threads break in? another example: what is the best way to turn the light off?
so far, i always have to check and make sure i don’t leave it on moonlight.

i’m currently running a tenergy centura AAA; i assume this is good to go.

thanks, and again, this seems pretty cool.

Congrats on your new light, yes your batteries are a good choice.

Your light has 3 brightness levels. Starting from off, you twist on and get the first level.
a quick twist off and back on, and you get second level. Again quick twist off and on, you get third level. Again quick twist off and on, you get back to first level again… it continues the same, each quick off on, from On, gives next level…

to turn off untwist half a turn or so, until the light goes out.
here is a video:

yes it will become easier one handed once the Oring loosens up. You can test this by removing the Oring, just don’t put it under water without the Oring. It is OK not to use the Oring, if you like how easily it works one handed… eventually it will work one handed with the Oring too.

It is OK to lubricate the Oring, but if you use too much, the light will become finicky and skip levels, because the oil will make contact unpredictably. So, don’t overlubricate…

when you twist for off, if you only twist less than 1/4 turn, the head can be pressed towards the body, or at an angle, and the light will turn on. this is not a good thing, because it can come on in your pocket, so after twisting off, do a test, push the head towards the body to make sure it is unscrewed far enough not to trigger the switch when the head is pressed.

enjoy!

The oring is tight, yes. to prevent the head getting lost of falling off. After some using, it will become loose.

Thanks! I am going to order another one in a few days.
