Headlight List with prices, specs and features

I’m not sure your talking about head mounted lights. All the lights on my list are complete units. There is no mixing and matching of drivers and leds. They come as a set from the factory.

Maybe your thinking of led strip lights?

What about the Imalent HR20 ?

I’m thinking of trying this light out because I am wanting a headlamp that bridges the gap between my lightweight reliable long lasting Princetontec Fuel and my 2x 18650 3 emitter maximum output headlamp. I thought I would try a single 18650 that doesn’t have a rear battery pack.

The Imalent HR20 looked neat so I did some more digging on it. I now have it on the list.

I like the rotary dial and usb charging, but it’s not one I’d buy for close up work due to the L shape. It looks good for jogging at night though, where the 1000 lumen and narrow beam can give good throw.

I still don’t know if it has lvp or if it can take a 20mm tir lens. If anyone knows, tell me and I’ll update the specs.

I can’t find specific info on the color temperature. They just say 5000k to 6500k. It also looks like it uses a weird, unique shaped copper mcpcb so I’m not sure if it would be possible to swap in another emitter without reflowing it onto the stock mcpcb.

Sale price of $28 including battery makes for a very good price.

I was noticing my Crelant CH10 didn’t seem as bright as it should be. It’s more than bright enough for close up work like soldering or working on a vehicle, but it didn’t seem like 460 lumen. I did an amp draw test with a clamp meter and instead of getting 1A like advertised, I only got 0.18A at its brightest. That’s disappointing. Now I’m thinking about doing a driver swap. It uses a 22mm driver with the switch wires going through the driver. I might try a fet driver with ramping.

.

Here’s an update on the Crelant CH10. After taking the light apart and looking it over I put it back together and low and behold, it’s much brighter than before. I measured a 1.4A draw on high. Now it’s working like it should. I guess it had a weak connection inside somewhere.

I thought it was supposed to draw 1A, but I got more than that. Oh well. No driver swap needed.

A few small L-shaped are missing

Manker E02H and E02 (two packages with or without headband) AAA

Manker E03H

I just don’t have time to research all lights to get the specs. If you know any more about them I’ll put that info on the list.

there is also the wowtac A2 series including the more powerful A2s:

The color looks daylight nice suprice white like working in the sun very floody i have it sety on 900-100 lumens now i think it is not more so hot.

From what I found online:

Manker E02H $26 (single AAA, L shape, CW: XP-G3 or WW: 219C, no charging, 4 levels, 220 or 180 lumen)

Manker E03H $30 (single AA, L shape NW: XP-L or WW: 219C, no charging, 5 levels, 350 or 240 lumen)

Lumintop HL $20-24 (single AAA, L Shape, CW: XP-G2 R5, no charging, 3 levels, 120 lumen) headband not included

Thanks for the info. I added them to the list. :+1:

As I understood the reviews the Lumintop HL AAA comes with a Headband.
I guess the name HL indicates this

The manker E02 is without headband.
The manker E02H has a headband.

The Skilhunt H15
can also use 14500. It is a bit big for a AA light, only 1cm shorter than the compact 18650 H03.
H15 and H03 have the same Headband, clip, bezel and TIR-lense, don’t know about the board
H03 and H015 have long click for off, with about 1/2 second. Which is not too annoying. You can get used to.
The Skilhunt H02 is longer than the H03.

The lumen for H015 is in review mostly below 1000. The 1200 are LED lumen.
900lm (for 3min) with 18650 in the manual. Also it is extremely floddy.
Barely a visual difference btw. 900lm and 450lm. If the two modes are equall you have reached 3.6V.
Have this thing in NW as EDC and like it.

For the Lumintop HL AAA, a headband is not on the list of included items at lumintop.com or BG.

Yes, also Lumintop 18650 HL18 found. Flood light seems great.

Sorry if I shouldn’t address this here! If I should not, please let me know and I’ll delete the post!

After seeing this post about headlights, I’d like to ask if anyone knows these 2 Boruit headlights.

There is no “model” reference, so I can’t necessarily find any reviews or more info, and the seller info is nor the most…let’s say, evident. :person_facepalming:

Also, I would be interested to know - if anyone knows it - if these have the “infinite brightness adjustment” as the Boruit RJ 02!

I want a headlight with that adjustable brightness, but before opting for the Boruit RJ-02 I’d like to expand the possibilities, either from this or other brands!

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is not the adequate place!!

These were mentioned about 6 weeks ago here: Boruit RJ-02 headlight... 2 thumbs up... - #109 by limbo

They are pretty new models and I’ve not seen any proper reviews for them yet.

It looks like there are now a lot of feedback and reviews on the Aliexpress site. The single emitter light looks like it has stepless dimming, 1A charge rate, uses a conventional 16mm star and fits a 20mm tir optic. It doesn’t say the color temp, but it looks like CW. The only thing I don’t like is the headband missing the top strap. Due to the weight of the lights, the top strap is needed, in my opinion.

Oh well, I might buy both since they are so cheap.

Ooops, sorry, I didn’t see those links :person_facepalming:
Yup, they seem new (at least compared to the other models they have), and seem interesting in terms of look.

If the UI is similar to the RJ-02, that would be fantastic, even if they didn’t have the sensor! But if one needs to go through all the modes to get to the stepless diming…that ain’t so nice… :zipper_mouth_face:

Yup, I believe it will be CW as well! They all seem to be CW.
About the headband, my guess, through the pictures, is that it is not silicone, it may be some hard mix or silicone and plastic that allows the headlight to be changed in directions, and to get “stuck” at the same time, without falling.

It would be nice to find a review on these too :person_facepalming:

Jason, you said that the emitter is hard to swap on the RJ-02, but…would it be doable for someone with not so good skills on modding?

Thank you and sorry to bother with this! :+1:

No. I’ve got a hot air station and I still wouldn’t try it. The pcb is integrated into the housing and seems non removable. If you apply heat directly to the pcb on each side of the led you could possibly over heat it and the smd components on the other side could fall off. I did not even bother trying to change it.

If you dont need built in charging, the CH10 is pretty darn good.

Ps, you can read the reviews for the new models right? You can see the translated reviews?
