Haikelite Products Upgrade and Improvement Official Announcements

I feel your pain. I’m pretty much in the same boat. Shoddy after-sales support and customer service.

Yes, thermal mass works.
Haikelite should do the simplest way and provide us best price for high output flashlight.

Hi

MT03s from End of Novermber are used a TA-based driver with HaikeLite UI , the brightness increased above 12000 lumens.

i saw 2-3 people had a driver problem with mt03, please contact the dealer/us to find a solution.

Thanks

Can we buy the new driver to upgrade our lights?

Good news!

Florian

yes

Great job solving the issue. I think Haikelite should perform more thorough test on future new products though.

And Banggood page is still showing 8760 lumens. Can you confirm Banggood is selling 12000 lumens version? Can you work with Banggood to remove unecessary doubt?

Are you saying this new driver is based on the Texas Avenger, FET, 3 channel driver?

Does it still have the 6 brightness levels?

Can you tell use what these levels are? Are they all the same except for a brighter turbo?

Thanks

Hi HaikeLite, are you using Narsil or a variant of it for the new lights? Thanks. I was planning on buying a HaikeLite product but wasn’t sure which firmware comes pre-configured.

They are not using Narsil, but I hope they consider it. After using it in one light, I want all my lights to have it! You can’t beat ramping.

So far I know that HaikeLight is using a modified TA Board Layout, but with their own MCU

Yes, Narsil would be fantastic to see used on this light. It was what the TA driver was designed for when used with an e-switch.

Haikelite, I am happy to help you get Narsil working on your light with my Texas Avenger driver. It is truly a fantastic firmware that everyone loves.

Did you get Dale?

Not yet, I assume because of the weekend they are waiting till Monday to get back to me.

I also skyped with HaikeLight and so far they wrote me his engeneer asked me about a Narsil.bin

I did reply how to use Atmel studio and AVR dude to get used to flash Atmel Attiny MCUs, but got no response as its weekend now

I specially love how the double click to Turbo is instantaneous, unlike the Q8 and D4V2, don’t like the Lag/Drop out to Turbo, maybe that could be cured in the configuration settings? I have asked Lexel to make me some 42mm T/A Narsil drivers for the TN42 XHP70/50 mods, can’t wait to try them out!

I like the Lexel built T/A Narsil drivers so much I have them in 1 M6 triple 2- L6’s 2-SD75’s and the Super Courui D01. So for the TN42’s Narsil will be a natural match. I’m running the FETDD 2S2P LDO moppydrv. in them now, will keep one of the TN42’s with it for all the different modes you can choose.

Sold the 2 Q8’s I modded, to a couple co-workers, (I like my M6 triple/4 cells with Narsil better) meh civilians what do they care….

TOM E implemented the lag to turbo so it does not do turbo when you go to lock out, battcheck for example
in earlier versions it was instant, not sure if he could implement a switch in setup file so we can decide if its instant or lagged

You never replied to my PM, Haikelite.
