CONSIDERACIONES PREVIAS

Acebeam has put on sale another small piece very powerful, supercompact, and also offers two colors called Black and Sand (5000 and 6000 K). Next we will present the black model with the dye 6000 K

PRESENTATION

The Acebeam K30 is presented in a similar fashion to the X80. It comes in a cardboard box in full color and with a very satin feel. It opens in book form, and the lid is magnetized. In the box there is an important amount of information, from the technical aspects, uses, type of model and some considerations of use. It is the same type of box as the X80. The quality is palpable, and fulfills the function of presentation and protection of the model in an excellent way.

Inside the box is the flashlight, holster, instruction manual, warranty card, lanyard and Orings. It also includes a caution card about lithium batteries. The Acebeam case is a quality case that protects well the lantern, which fits perfectly in it.

CONSTRUCTION ASPECTS

Acebeam has once again used the highest quality components. The body of the flashlight is made of Type III anodized aluminum alloy with anti-abrasion termination. The tempered glass lens has anti-reflection treatment. In general the appearance of the flashlight is superb in quality, very similar to the X80, and is a very visually attractive piece. The body has a perfect thickness to hold it perfectly. In this section a small difference in relation to the X80 is that the Knurlin being very similar, is somewhat less pronounced, surely because being less thickness, the lantern adheres to the hand. In the same are presented several laser engravings with model data.

The head is slightly thicker and has no Knurlin. It ends in a stainless steel bevel. The head includes several dissipating fins. Also included is a battery indicator, a superb stainless steel pushbutton and a slot for attaching the lanyard that carries an exceptional stainless steel carabiner. Finally the tail plug comes with various engravings on the make and model. Being totally smooth, it allows the use of the K30 in Tailslan mode.

The lens is made of tempered glass with anti-reflective treatment. It comes protected by an adhesive to prevent scratches in its transport. In the same it is strongly reminded that it must be removed before using the flashlight. After the anti-glare lens we find a smooth reflector with a meticulously centered XHP70.2.

The K30 can be DIVIDED in two parts, the threads are very good, deep, and come clean and greased. As for the battery holder comes anchored to the head of the flashlight and has the usual quality in the mark. The springs are of a great quality, with great thickness to favor the drainage. The K30 supports both (flat and button top) battery models, protected and unprotected.

SIZE AND WEIGHT

As for its size and weight the K30 is a marvel. Small, comfortable and light. Its size is similar to the X80 but thinner. This is an aspect that can be considered perfect (only 323 gr with batteries and lanyard: applause:).

USER INTERFACE

Ui is very simple:

*1 Press -> Turn on / Off (Has memory normal mode)
*Press and hold-> Low, Mi, Hi, Low.....
*Off-> Press and hold 1 sec -> Firefly
*On-> Double click -> Turbo ->Double click -> Turbo Max->Double click -> Turbo->
*Triple click -> Strobo
*Lock->Press 2 sec.

The flashlight has a range of use ranging from 9v to 12.6v, so the arrangement of batteries in the battery holder is in series. Battery status images are displayed after a complete download. The indicator light will give us indications about how the battery level evolves through green light, red light, red light flashing and off.

MODES, POWER, RUNTIME, CANDEL AND THERMAL MANAGEMENT

A priori, the step-wise modes of the K30 seems very correct. In the first place, it has proceeded to test whether the results obtained in my sphere coincide or not with what is reflected in the specifications. The results closely resemble each other in all modes.

As for the Runtime, it was calculated without the assisted ventilation of the sphere. First we present the runtime of the two modes turbo and the high mode complete and with some Zoom. Subsequently, it was verified how the thermal management system in turbo max and turbo mode with ventilation from the beginning was verified, and they were compared with the same modes without ventilation. Finally the performance of the K30 is compared with flashlights of similar power.

Finally the THROW results of the model are presented.

PROYECTION

We are faced with a basically flood model, but THROW its no bad (in this model is not only by brute force).

I've prepared a little video in case it can be useful.

Now it will proceed to present the projection of the K30. We start in projection on the wall.

The next sequence of projections is the garage aisle whose measurements are 95 meters long and six wide. K30 in turbo max, X80 (5000 lumens mode), and the Olight X7 ( 5400 lumens mode).

Finally we continue with the outdoor projection.

CONCLUSION.

My conclusion is that if you are looking for a monoled, powerful, very powerful, high quality, handy and light flashlight, then K30 will leave you quite satisfied. The projection is flooding from the feet and with a decent throw. Few glitches can be put to the model. The thermal management is very good ..... To put a fault, perhaps should carry thread for tripod, and take advantage of it to locate the lanyard just like the X80. Little more, even the basic UI, seems to me very correct for this model.

I am tremendously happy with my last three Acebeam. Let's hope the brand does not deviate in design and quality and follow each day by setting the bar higher. As for the K30, the key to its success will be related to the price at which it can be acquired.

Good review, thanks. :+1:
