Review Sofirn SP10B + 3 lights Giveaway - Winners Posted

If I can help with that (also on this post)

Manker E11 (AA Alkaline, on the lowest setting) >>> Sofirn SP10B (AA Alkaline, on Moonlight) >>> Olight S1R Baton (16340 Li-Ion, on Moonlight mode)

I’m in the US

They list 1 lumen using AA's, and 2 using 14500

Even so, the same three lights using Li-Ion batteries, all on their lowest modes! :sunglasses:
Manker E11 > SP10B > Olight S1R Baton

The only 2 lights I have that beat the SP10B is a modded AA/14500 light with a ReyLight driver and the Jetbeam RRT01, that has the lowest levels possible - I guess - in a flashlight!

EDIT: if the Olight S1R baton is supposed to have 0.5 lumens on the moonlight mode, the SP10B has much less than that. The difference between the AA and the 14500 cell is minimum, if there is any, on the ML mode!

Here is two SP10B’s on low. The left is a 14500, right is a AA. The 14500 is about double, so 1 lumen (AA) and 2 lumen (14500) is not out of the question.

Thanks for the giveaway “I’m in the US”

In for international  Thank you.

Hum, my question then would be: how accurate are the Olight S1R Baton 0.5 lumens?
If the SP10B, both on AA alkaline and 14500 Li-Ion, is a lot lower than the Olight on Moonlight mode - even if the Sofirn specs mention it has 1/2 lumens - how can we rely on the manufacturer’s numbers?

But maybe this is not a discussion for this thread
All and all, the SP10B has a great ML mode and it’s what matters for this place!
Thanks for the pics RobertB!

Great review!

You’re welcome my friend. I really don’t know. They have different lenses, different emitters, different reflector sizes, etc… and who knows how these companies calibrate. Sometimes I think they all just guess.

Like you suggest, if it looks good to you, that’s all that matters
