Enogear AA Stainless Steel (AA/14500)

Like the flashlight, do not like the un-secure website asking name ,address, email, phone etc.
Site needs Https or straight thru pay by Paypal with Paypal handling shipping address info.

Are there any other outlets for this Flashlight?
Thanks

Keith

This is a good catch. In 2017 a person shouldn’t be entering personal info into an un-secure website.

pretty cool light! I only have 1 smaller stainless steel light, the ex DITO light. this one looks way more attractive.

oh bugger… now you got me abit worry.

i already purchased one :frowning:

Darn it. I didn’t notice the site was unsecured either. Wouldn’t have ordered had I seen that.

did you use paypal?

if you didn’t, was the page you entered your card data https?

I used paypal. I don’t shop online unless they take paypal. Amazon is about the only exception. Have had our CC compromised too many times, and it’s usually at the worst time like when on vacation.

But it still ticks me off that my address, phone number and email address is out there now on an unsecured site.

Anybody knows this company?
They seem to be located in Bhopal, India according to their phone number?

Nice light by the way…

I ordered, they sent a shipping notice. A few days later emailed me and said all they had were cool white’s. I canceled and they refunded right away. Will consider ordering again if they secure that website.

Any news on this light…
I’m still holding my finger on the trigger.

They have some other nice lights:

Brass 18650 - $30:

Titanium 18650, supposedly with USB charging - $40:

Amazing !
The CNQG brass beauty is available again !

I’m not familiar with CNQG… You think there’s a connection, or just usual copy/paste chinese business?

Just wish the tailcap would be redesigned and have a proper cap with good threading.

I had the AA version, but didn`t like the tailcap with the minor threading. The 18650 version might be different though.

That’s a lot of flashlight for $15! Thanks for the review ChibiM.

Did you test it with a 14500 battery? Just wondering how hot it gets in high. There’s no mention of a turbo timer or thermal regulation.

Unfortunately I don't know yet.
I have an AA battery installed(because it's currently a family light). But I just tried using an Olight 14500, (not fully charged), and it didnt have a noticeable drop in output. So I have to retest this again with a full(er) 14500

Running a test now, and it doesnt have a turbo timer nor thermal regulation.

At start it had a ceiling bounce of 220lux

Now, after 7 minutes it has a total of 180lux

I looked at the lux meter, and the output declined slowly.

So it sagged about 20% in 7 minutes. (no cooling) Not the brightest flashlight out there.

Perfect mode spacing. :+1:
How about PWM? Does iy use PWM, and if so, is it visible or audible (like when you shine on a black cloth or from the switch / spring)?

Wish i had seen this thread before, would have grabbed one for $14.90

Hey Jerommel,

I updated the OP.

yes, PWM is present in both Low and Medium, unfortunately.

PWM is present AND audible…
