I have some Aukey cables and they are really good quality and with no problem they deliver 5V 2.4A. I donāt have device that can use higher amperage so donāt know about 3A.
I prefer Aukey cables because of price/performance ratio.
Set of 5 high quality Aukey cables of different sizes cost around $7 in Aukey offical store at AE.
There are some other similiar quality brands like Blitzwolf, Anker ā¦ however like said, with replacing all micro usb cables in house itās worth to check those (2m x 1 cable, 1m x 2 cable, 30cm x 2 cable) Aukey packs. Or if you donāt like size thereās a variety of other packs.
I donāt think you can get anything better for this or even some more money.
Oh, one can pay more for Aukey cable too, however my statement about p/p above stand.
Donāt get me wrong, I am familiar with Anker excellence too, however thereās nothing what can beat proven price/quality ratio of Aukey cables I believe.
Example of comparable high quality, but still half cheaper Aukey cable:
I can vouch for BlitzWolf and Tronsmart :+1:
But something I canāt seem to find is a good quality short cable. For example 10-20cmā¦ for using with powerbanks.
If someone knows please share a link - micro and usb-c both
I heard some good things about Tronsmart cables too, however never used one. Price seems okay. Next time when I will be shopping around for longer USB cables I may use your url instead of my usual (Aukey ) pick.
@zipelgas in suggested Aukey 5-cables pack (link above) you can get two decent quality 30cm micro usb cables for a really nice price.
Ravpower, lately theyāve seemed to have gone from a plastic plug to an all metal design, feels a lot sturdier and more positive plugging in.
Used anker and decent but similar to what ravpower used to be.
Check Dodge Reviews ā he has reviewed a lot of micro-USB (and other) cables, and has compiled a spreadsheet table of the ones he tested:
Iāve also tried an Anker PowerLine+ 1m micro-usb, TronSmart 1.8m micro-USB cable, and BlitzWolf BW-CB7 1m micro-usb cable, which are excellent (Anker PowerLine is the best in terms of least voltage drop).
I also bought and tried out JianHan reversible micro-USB cable (1m, 2m) and these were excellent (at par or better than the TronSmart/BlitzWolf) and just slightly less than the Anker in current-load/voltage drop test. I was very satisfied with my first order, that I ordered again. Unfortunately the second batch had erratic quality ā its 2m micro-USB cable had a significant voltage drop (the first batch 2m micro-USB was excellent), so my guess is that they indeed cut costs
ā eg. the 1st order JianHan āJH-002ā 2m cable weighed 48.7grams and had minimal voltage drop considering its length. The 2nd batch JH-002 2m cable weighed only 33.3g ā significant cost cutting.
the 1st order JianHan āJH-002ā 1m cable weighed 27.7grams and the voltage drop is just slightly below the Anker PowerLine+ (slightly better than the BlitzWolf and TronSmart I mentioned above). But the 2nd order JH-002 1m now weighs only 19.8g and while voltage drop is still āOKā among the āordinaryā 1m cables, itās definitely not excellent ā more on the average or below-average.
So, I ordered the JianHan reversible micro-USB cable from the AliExpress JianHan official store. It looks like they may do an excellent first batch, but subsequently reduce the quality (significantly!) on later batches.
I donāt know about voltage drop, but the Anker powerlines have excellent connectors that donāt seem to wear out like others. With kids at home at home beating on them with their devices, these Anker cables seem really good.
