The discharge curves looks fine for NiMH, there is a small difference between the cells.

No, use my comparator and select BPI and eneloop Pro, the curves do not overlap.

It would be great to know how well they agree. I have some tenergy’s that tested out well when new but after a couple of years wouldn’t hold a charge for more than a couple of days.

Which Tenergy’s specifically degraded so fast? The [Blues] are cheap but don’t seem to hold up well (been there, won’t do that again).
I’ve got some [Centura], AAA, AA and C. Once in awhile they come up for a very good price. So far, those are doing OK, but only ~1 year of use. The C’s are in constant use, cycled about every 2 weeks.

Mine are the AA Centura rated at 2000 mAh. I bought 10 in 2014 and they originally tested out at more up to 2252mAh (Opus 3100). When I tested them several months ago 6 wouldn’t hold a charge for a week with the worse dropping to 270 mAh. The other bad ones dropped to around 1000 Mah. The 4 better ones dropped to around 1800 mAh after a week. Not great by any means but better than the other 6.

I lost my original notes in a disk failure but my memory was that when new the tenergy’s didn’t self-discharge much more than enloops did.

Interesting, thanks. Like many here I often buy things to check them out for myself. That just doesn’t work too well for long term performance/reliability with batteries.
I’ll keep an eye on the Centuras.
