Nothing really too out of the ordinary in the garage. I have an Audi in there I think is pretty neat. I’ve always have been a vw audi guy. But would love a new vette or gt350, we can dream. It’s just a hard sell, getting a pure sports car if you have wisconsin winters and a family. But I do have a remote security cameras in there so I can spy on my house. But lots of cool things in the house. We’re pretty big into home automation and gaming/vr at my house. Lots of interesting lights, some really big ones. I have an old 7D that’s big and a bigger mag mod that uses 7 26650s. I’ve always been drawn to quality stuff, not necessarily the most expensive. Some lights are super expensive because they are more works of art. I like that but I want them to be functional and perform at a higher level than . If anybody getting their GTs today doesn’t have a Q8 with the sweet user interface, you are going to be in for a treat. Easily one of the best UIs ever, thanks to Tom, TK, and all the others that made it happen.

Mine went through Greensboro, NC (says at 7:55 Eastern Time zone) and the expected delivery is still holding. Man, DHL doesn't screw around.

I discovered a budget-friendly GT cap in the pantry. Walmart’s ‘Great Value’ brand quick oats, 42 oz size.
It’s a perfect fit, and even creates an air bubble between the cap and lens if you don’t ‘burp’ it. 
I’ll adhere a circle of soft cloth inside it to further protect the lens from contact with the cap.

I doubt they paid the extra for Sat delivery, but who knows. Really nice of Lumitop to send it so expedited. Going to be a lot of people waiting for the dark. Should be nice and dry air around here since it’s been so cold. It was –20F earlier this week coming into work and as low as –18 this morning. Very dry indeed.

I received the first text from DHL on Wednesday the 27th at noon, it just got delivered today Friday the 29th around noon. Talk about fast shipping!

I’ve noticed that the beacon modes do a double blink instead of a single blink.
The wrap around feature is very nice, too.
It’s quite warm looking to me even though they call it NW. I’m gonna wait till I test it our at night before I order a cooler temp emitter.
I noticed that the 2 green leds in the switch are not equal in brightness. I plan to swap these out anyway.
Does anyone else’s lense make a “tink” sound every now and then? It’s a bit strange.

How you guys seeing an estimated delivery date? Mine is in a city an hour and a half away. If I can drive out there and pick it up today instead of waiting until next week, I’ll do it. I have other things to do there anyway.
DHL tracking just changed from “Arrived at delivery facility in Austin - USA” to “Forwarded for delivery”. Googling what “Forwarded for delivery” with DHL means, brought up results saying things like the package has been forwarded to another carrier for delivery. Earlier this year I had an Armytek headlight delivered to me from Canada by a DHL Express courier. Anyone else seeing “Forwarded for delivery” in their tracking results?

My updates never included a delivery date either. Last web update says it is with delivery courier. Then I received a text message saying that it would be delivered by end of day, today!
It’s in the GT thread. Head was 134mm and the length 315mm.
