Hello, please put me on the list for one GT, thanks!
Things should start getting real interesting in about 6 hours when it gets dark on this side of the world.
I do have one observation about the light that seems a bit odd to me. When the top and bottom are tightened completely on the threads, the two areas to fasten the strap are on opposite sides. The one on the bottom of the flashlight is facing up, when the grommet in the mid-center of the light is facing down. Seems like they both should be facing down. … picture to follow.
I thought the one on the tail rotated.
(I’m searching for the picture/video now.)
heatwaves…. it sounds to me you are talking about the tri-pod mount on the bottom. There is another strap attachment point back on the tail cap.
“”“YEAH”“”  Love the double headed GT!!! :+1: Strap that to your shoulder! Got your 12 and 6 covered!

The lanyard ring around the tailcap rotates independently of the tailcap’s threads.
Mine is hard to turn, not ‘twirlable’ like the prototype in VOB’s video.

Bozlight29:I posted already in another thread, but the registered mail European GT’s will be shipped in January. And if you consider a shipping time of 3 weeks at least, we have to wait for a while. Luckily we can follow the joy of the US members, as the GT is something special.
When europe dhl will be shipped?
I received email from Neal (because all that mixup with shipping method and then batteries included/not included…) on Thu, Dec 28, 2017 at 2:24 PM,
he sayed my light (with 8 samsung cells) will be shipped today but no other info, like DHL tracking number, was provided.
And I will name it…… GODZILLA!!!
cow’s have eyes on the side of the haed, I didn’t notice that
Your bird photo made me laugh hysterically!
I found a few more. The goat is certainly my favorite!
Yes… Hello 911! I just saw a UFO zipping back and forth threw the sky

Here is the photo…
Not sure why the strap connectors are facing in different directions when fully tightened.

Perfect! Thanks so much for explaining it (and to other commenters as well)! Mine was just a little stiff at first, but now seems to be moving fine.
Please put me on list for a third GT. I need one more for modding.

The tailcap ring should rotate with a little effort to match whatever you want.
Also there is another mounting point higher up on the end I would recommend for attaching a strap, it will be better balanced.

I posted this in the other thread as well. That 5” neoprene cover on Amazon fits perfect. Like it was made for the GT
Interesting to know if everybody has similar output and throw!!!!
Please post them if you can.
I posted this in the other thread as well. That 5" neoprene cover on “Amazon”:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009R9BN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 fits perfect. Like it was made for the GT !{width:60%}https://kek.gg/i/3Pq--k.jpg!
fits perfect.... for the amount it covers ;)
reminds me of people wearing a rainhat, with no raincoat.... at least it keeps their hair dry ;p
Every time I see that video I can’t help thinking that every Londoner should have had a GT during the blitz. If the AAA gunners couldn’t hit their targets as they were flying, then at least the bombardier would have been blinded and just seeing a blue ball floating in front of his eyes.
I wonder who the first person will be to signal the ISS with their GT?
BTW, VOB, that video just doesn’t get old and neither does your obvious enthusiasm.
