Just wanted to share a comment regarding the batteries received with my light today.

The work and attention to detail used in applying the button tops is amazing. I have seen and own examples were button top alignment is off, or the wraps are wrinkled and crooked. Not on these. Thanks for sourcing these quality cells to offer at an amazing price.

Oh, almost forgot to say the light is pretty amazing also, but there are plenty of testaments to that fact already.

sure looks closer than 1.9 miles, at 200mm in the pic, unless you got some longgg glass you been hiding ! lol!

its possible, but that looks like more than .13 lux hitting it
heres a rough idea of what should of been hitting the tower at that distance.

ive got a tower i tried other night at 1.7 miles, but had to abandon the shoot b4 i could get any decent shots off

Went out to play with my GT, I need $$ someone $$ to put something cooler in mine. Maybe even a 70.2 , I’l sacrifice some throw for more lumens and cooler tint :frowning:

I made that decision awhile back. I simply had enough “commercial” lights and the BLF lights that I’d been buying at full price knocked the socks off of them.

You’ll love the D4 but I won’t say it’s going to be better than the FW3A. But price wise… ? I think my D4 cost me $60 and I almost never use it on turbo. It’s still nice to have that option available.

I did much the same thing last night.

I called my closest neighbor 100 yards away to tell him to look into his sunroom, but not at my home. Then I turboed it. He was astonished at the “daylight” that filled it. Next day I went over to show him what did it and he immediately started to chuckle (if not giggle) . He was amazed that the beam could be seen outside on snow in full daylight.

It’s just an amazing light. I still have no use for it other than to possess it. But amazingly while much more practical lights are here, the wife gets a kick out of the GT and hasn’t given me any static about it once she saw it. I have gotten static over the much more practical lights. Go figure.

The BLF designed lights are precisely why I no longer buy commercial lights.
