I did much the same thing last night.
I called my closest neighbor 100 yards away to tell him to look into his sunroom, but not at my home. Then I turboed it. He was astonished at the “daylight” that filled it. Next day I went over to show him what did it and he immediately started to chuckle (if not giggle) . He was amazed that the beam could be seen outside on snow in full daylight.
It’s just an amazing light. I still have no use for it other than to possess it. But amazingly while much more practical lights are here, the wife gets a kick out of the GT and hasn’t given me any static about it once she saw it. I have gotten static over the much more practical lights. Go figure.
The BLF designed lights are precisely why I no longer buy commercial lights.

Coyotehawk (poor guy, so many new names :person_facepalming: ) will add your names to his sign up list. You’ll see your name when he does the next update. It will be sometime mid January when you are emailed with the details of where to go and how to order. (Uses PayPal, btw)
You can also buy 8 of the Samsung 35E batteries for $40 at the same time as you buy the light. No sign up necessary for those. There are plenty of batteries in stock. Just add them at checkout.

I’ll wait and see where the design goes and how I feel about it when it’s closer to finished. Not a real big fan of the D4s look, but like the side switch. Loved the fw3a look, but can’t say the new look is as tempting as the original.
I know I was a bit back and forth on this light, and glad I did. Can’t beat the quality, and quantity, of light I got for the price with the GT.
I’m hoping…. No DHL notice but looking at my USPS Informed Delivery account, there’s a DHL handoff to USPS. If this is it, I could possibly get it tomorrow but probably Monday.

Yours is from 183 to 198, it’s also less than 10%. So it confirms it is normal. Just to know more about GT before it reach me.

I noticed that Lumintop were nice enough to machine little notches around the switch pcb mount to make it easy to slip it through. No filing needed to add them. They even added grooves to center the leds vertically or horizontaly. That’s classy right there.
