What do you plan to use to charge the batteries for your BLF GT?

I have one, not a bad charger but is now at $36 + I could maybe get 2 Liito Kalas 500…

If I had ordered a GT, which I have not, I would buy one of the high current nitecore chargers.
There’s no need to charge a 3500mAh battery at 1A.
You can charge LiPOs at 1C and never notice any decrease in capacity or lifespan.
Charging at 3.5A is perfectly safe and will be more than 3x faster than 1A.

In RC, pretty much everyone charges their packs at 1C, with some special packs that are safe up to 5C charging.
LiPOs are not as delicate as one might think.

Emailed imrbatteries.com a few days back and asked about a group buy for $45 shipped and they said no thanks. Normal price is $55 plus about $9.50 shipping. They have quantity discounts of 4 at 40 each and 10 at 38 each so they pay less than $38 each.

I received it a few minutes ago

yeah, but .6 amp max charge ?
man thats weak…

I ended up ordering a second Opus it will be delivered on Jan 2. Thanks everyone for your help.

It was reliable, but my old-school charger took forever to charge batteries. No worries about this one over-heating!!

I upgraded to the XTAR VC4, and since the BLF GT, added a Miboxer C4-12.

The hen we had for dinner. LOL!!

a charger.

okay a Liitokala 4 slot charger.
I only bought 4 30Q cells, so…
Maybe i’ll buy 4 more, i have 3 other 2 slot chargers.

:+1: :+1: I have got to get a Miboxer C4-12. 12 amps!!!

I’ll be charging on one 4 bay charger. The GT is a toy for me and I can’t imagine a circumstance where I’ll need to be back out a second night after significantly depleting the batteries. Even so, I’ll probably be able to fit in 2 charge cycles the next day in any event. Of course, this isn’t the question you asked. And since you’re nicely set up…enjoy!

my opus, and skyrc, mc3000

I currently use an Xtar wp6… I think it does 6 at .6 amp each.
Ive gotten to the point where I need another charger…
The GYRFALCON All – 88 … It does 8, But am I correct, it will do 8 at 1 amp each?

Is there a 6 or 8 bay charger that can do more amps per cell? while full?

or is 8 x 1 amp the most?

I see the Nitecore does 8, but at .5 amp each

I really need another charger. It took over 8 hours to charge only 4 of the Samsung cells I got with the GT on my Intellicharger D4. Charged the other 4 overnight so haven’t even got to play yet.

May get the Gyrfalcon which would be quicker.

Is there a good charger that an automatic termination voltage could be set to like 3.19 volts to not work the cells as hard?

Thanks for any info

I was thinking the Gyrfalcon… 8 x 1 amp, I think.
Then again the MiBoxer-C4-12 does 4 x 3 amp….

I was wondering, is there any way to use an imax b6 to charger multiple li-ions at a time at higher amperage? Is the reason the other chargers like xtar vc4 and nitecore i4 etc cap out at 1 amp because you can’t charge a li-ion any faster? Has anyone been able to rig up something for the imax b6 to charger 8 18650’s at a time with fast charging rates? Thanks!

skyrc 3000
best out there
totally custom settings , i mean totally from a to z.
just better hope it dont break, they stink for standing behind them

Thanks nodoubt, I looked at it quickly and like what I saw. Will research if further it may be the one.

Tonight i am charging my 2 of my samsung 30q ( 3.9v )… it takes forever with my nitecore d4. I have no more patient. Lol… by the way, i have gyrfalcon all 88 charger…

I’ll wait until I get GT and” then I make this.“:Redirecting...? Just add two slots. fbid=10155408909693282&set=gm.1433860466723087&type=3&ifg=1

I am still slacking, waiting for a deal on two things.

I still need an idiot proof 4 or 8 bay charger.

I also need to buy 4 protected cells for my Q8, I’m open to best bang for the buck and was considering Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7 Volt 18650 3400 mAh.

I need a charger to safely charge the 8 batteries coming with my GT and then the 4 I still need to buy for the Q8.

If anyone sees a good deal, please send my way.
