Just kidding. I don’t watch football. You might be spoiling it for others, though.

I was thinking the same thing.
When I don't watch a sporting event live, I avoid BLF (and some other websites) until I see the game.

Thank you very much to the BLF GT team to make this happen!!
The duties you can expect for the GT + batteries, delivered by DHL to the Netherlands (hint: it’s taxes all the way down):
Value added tax: €31,92
Administrative costs: €14,50
Value added tax on the above administrative costs: €3,05For a total of €49,47.
My Paypal payment was $143.28. With US$1 = €0.835764 , US$143.28 = €119.748. If I naively use the maximum VAT from Btw (omzetbelasting), I get 119.748*0.21 = €25.15, but the invoice gives €31,92. It would be interesting to find out how they arrived at their value.
People wonder why we in Europe chose ‘registered’ along with a long wait. That right there is OVER half the lights value when you add it all up. I understand businesses being hit with it, but individuals buying flashlights etc……no. £500/Euro should be the limit, not £30!!!. What makes me laugh though is they charge €17.55 just to charge us VAT lol!
/\\\…. Wow… that is sad!

Mine has arrived yesterday here in Germany and I had to pay 36.16€, including 12.50€ administrative costs plus 2.38€ tax for this.
AFAIR there were no administrative costs till 2016 or early 2017.
It doesn’t matter if you order with DHL or registered Air Mail here in Germany. You must pay the taxes for imports worth of more than 22€ (26,30€ cause taxes under 5€ are free). If you get your package without coustoms and don’t pay the taxes you’re a tax evader.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved with the GT build . Received mine yesterday via DHL and they don’t mess around. Got notification on Tuesday morning that it was leaving Hong Kong and was on my doorstep by Wednesday afternoon.
Mine showed up out of the blue today. I didn’t get any notice from DHL though. I had ordered and paid for batteries but they didn’t show up
DUTY in Canada was 17.57
Thanks to the BLF GT team for this beauty

Did you order the batteries at the same time as the light?
I know that some people added them to their order too late to be shipped with their light. I’m wondering if this happen to you.
If you ordered them at the same time, then you should contact Neal and let him know that your order was missing the batteries.

Jason… This may shed some light upon this situation………
I see you are on the list twice, at #734 where you requested a light and at #1343 where you requested a 2nd light plus batteries. Did you request batteries for the first light as well, or did you add them when you ordered? Are you still planning to buy batteries with your second light? Presently the folks from 1 to 1049 have got their payment instructions, so I assume you haven’t paid for the 2nd light and batteries yet. If you added batteries with your first light when you ordered, it may h…
Yeah, it seems that is the reason they didn’t come together. I’m sure Neal will ship them out seperately then.
Itsme also asked the same question on the battery thread.
/\\\ … Yep, I noticed that too. . :+1:
/\\\ …… Thanks for the heads up. :+1:
According to DHL my GT went out with the driver this morning…unfortunately that coincides with a winter storm rolling in. We’ll see if he actually makes it today.
