People wonder why we in Europe chose āregisteredā along with a long wait. That right there is OVER half the lights value when you add it all up. I understand businesses being hit with it, but individuals buying flashlights etcā¦ā¦no. Ā£500/Euro should be the limit, not Ā£30!!!. What makes me laugh though is they charge ā¬17.55 just to charge us VAT lol!

Mine has arrived yesterday here in Germany and I had to pay 36.16ā¬, including 12.50ā¬ administrative costs plus 2.38ā¬ tax for this.
AFAIR there were no administrative costs till 2016 or early 2017.
It doesnāt matter if you order with DHL or registered Air Mail here in Germany. You must pay the taxes for imports worth of more than 22ā¬ (26,30ā¬ cause taxes under 5ā¬ are free). If you get your package without coustoms and donāt pay the taxes youāre a tax evader.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved with the GT build . Received mine yesterday via DHL and they donāt mess around. Got notification on Tuesday morning that it was leaving Hong Kong and was on my doorstep by Wednesday afternoon.
Mine showed up out of the blue today. I didnāt get any notice from DHL though. I had ordered and paid for batteries but they didnāt show up
DUTY in Canada was 17.57

I know that some people added them to their order too late to be shipped with their light. Iām wondering if this happen to you.
If you ordered them at the same time, then you should contact Neal and let him know that your order was missing the batteries.

According to DHL my GT went out with the driver this morningā¦unfortunately that coincides with a winter storm rolling in. Weāll see if he actually makes it today.
I received DHL tracking two days ago - apparently it is waiting at home for me!! Couldnāt be better timing as we are going camping tomorrow. Is it overkill? Maybe, but thatās just my style.

Yesterday I called the DHL office in my country
They informed me that they report the tracking numbers only to the sender
They suggest that if the seller does not send me the tracking number start a dispute in Paypal
I will send an email to the payment address of Neal requesting the information
If I do not get a coherent answer unfortunately I will start the dispute in Paypal
