ISDT C4
Color screen charger with lots of features.
Preorder up on Banggood now: https://www.banggood.com/ISDT-C4-8A-Touch-Screen-Smart-Battery-Charger-With-USB-Output-For-18650-26650-AA-AAA-Battery-p-1248735.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN
I’d rather have one that can charge 4 18650’s at a time. But since there’s only this one for now I would love to know both how it does as a charger, but also how good you find a UI as an experienced user.
I have ordered one, but it do not look that impressive (A fancy screen do not make a good charge).
I have received the Armytek C2.
It looks like only two LiIon batteries and not much flexibility with battery length.
Battery size: AAA, AA, 10440, 10500, 12500, 13500, 13650, 14500, 14650, 16650, 17650, 18650, 20650, 22650, 26650
according to their spec, this look promising
i have isdt sc608, really love it, the rotatory knob is quite annoying

I only looked at the images, not at the specifications, but there is one thing that catches my eye in your list:
Length is 44, 50 or 65 mm with diameter restrictions, i.e. 50mm cells can only be up to 14mm, not 18500 cells.
And what about protected and button top cells that are a bit longer or the new xx700 cells.
There may be enough tolerance in the springs to handle it, I will be checking that when I get it.
Hello HKJ,
Maybe I missed it but have you had chance to test the new Nitecore SC4? Thanks much.

Thanks for that mate!

You’re welcome buddy :+1:
Doesn’t look like anything better than what’s already out there.
There’s a new LiitoKala single slot universal charger, called the Lii-S1, which may be a successor to the great value Lii-100:
The thing that catches my eye about it is that it has an LED display for voltage & current, not an LCD one. I like that, because I’m legally blind, and some LCDs have such low contrast or poor view angles that I find them almost impossible to read. I might order a couple after the Chinese New Year chaos is over

Thank you :+1:
New concept: A mix between DC power supply and USB meter in the case of an powerbank, but without battery.
4 independent channels with 3A each, 2,5-12V. And WiFi control from an app.

Any chance we see a test of this “professional” charger?

Probably not. After the one hour load test I would not be able to write anything for days
In reality I would have to do some setup with a speed controlled motor to test it and start plotting power vs RPM. It could be fun, but it would take a lot of time and I would have to manufacturer some of the test equipment first.
Hi HKJ, would you also consider tearing down and analyzing the black box ac-dc adapters that usually come with these sort of chargers?
