As I know the CF version debuted with the skeletonized steel liners then they upgraded the solid G10 versions too. I bought my G729 last April at GearBest and it came with the skeletonized steel liners and the Firebird logo on the blade. I have no info about the grooved G10 versions.
Sorry Adahn. I just checked it against her Spyderco and they are darn close to the same behind the edge. Its definitely a slicer and if there is a difference its minute.

The thing i can tell you is that the f729 cf has a better lock up deeper and it is skeletonized.
I still can see the old ganzo models g729 in shops.
Mine shipped yesterday from GearBest for $18.26 i have not used insurance or tracking on my last 2 knife orders and they still arrived.

You can see vertical blade play in some samples in youtube and reviews in the standard shops. I read some times the same, but in other cases the lock up is good. The vertical blade play can be tiny too, not a lot

Ok, when it is unfolded, I put a lot of force on the back of the blade, now it has very tiny vertical blade play.

Anyways, the Hungarian folder is not a Szankovits, (pronounce in english words like sun-co-witch), but a fejesgörbe (now this is impossible in english), which means fejes - has a head, the part around the pivot, görbe, it’s curved. Szankovits is one maker, there’s 4-5 other companies that still make such knives till today.
Too bad these traditional knives are usually only available in their countries of origin and they are quite expensive compared to our beloved Made in PRC knives…

Really navaja is a folder knife not a brand like opinel etc. Navaja is a knife style, not a brand.
The Belarusian Navaja is almost identical to one of the most Iconic South African knives, the Okapi.

Sweeping Canadian Law Bans Many Folding Knives

Yep, the future of knife enthusiasts in Canada is looking pretty dark…
Last year, CBSA revised their memorandum to include flipper knives to their list of prohibited weapons, but get that, only the good flippers that can actually flip, crappy flippers that didn’t open all the way are OK. This year, they extended their reach to pretty much any decent knife that can be flipped open by any mean. I guess we’re left with slip joints and lock backs 
Just to make things clear that were wrongly written in the article, it is NOT the Canadian law that changed. This law has been the same for decades and is actually quite simple and short. Knives prohibited in Canada by the Canadian Criminal code are basically balisongs, switchblades or OTFs and push daggers, pretty short list.
What ACTUALLY changed is CBSA (Canada Customs) interpretation of the law to include whatever they want.
Here’s a couple of good videos about this from fellow Canadian Youtubers:
CBSA consistently changes their Memorandum (CBSA-only interpretation of the law) as they see fit and unfortunately for us Canadians knife-nuts, not many Canadians give a sh*t.
For example, last year, CBSA seized a couple of Ganzos from me under being centrifugal. To be clear, the centrifugal law was created to ban balisongs, not axis-lock folders.
They also seized a TwoSun TS-40 under being …… wait for it …. an automatic knife! yes that’s right, and that was last year when they were mostly targeting flippers. Now, with this new change, any knife that you can open one-handed into locking position with or without a “flick of the wrist” as they call it, can be denied entry to the country. It doesn’t mean it’s illegal as you are able to purchase the exact same knife here at regular stores (at premium Canadian prices) and no cop will ever tell you that this knife is illegal.
And just to emphasize how stupid CBSA are, a tiny Sanrenu 7010 or 7076 (https://www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_202407.html) will be denied entry to the country while a Ganzo G803 (https://www.gearbest.com/fixed-blades-knives/pp_825180.html) will enter just fine
Since last year, I have had all my flipper purchases shipped to a family member in the US that I visit twice a year but I was shipping thumb stud deployment still to Canada.
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a spyderco Techno clone from Fasttech and a Loscha clone from AE as I was pretty confident that they would go through without issues. Now with these changes, if the packages get inspected, I won’t be getting the knives, sucks to be me.
