1200 vs 6000lm what's the difference?

I’m not a diver, nor a photographer.
But I heard around about archon, maxtoch, acebeam, haikelite diving lights.
Maybe also a nitecore one…

Is there a code from M4DM4X to lower the cost on the Neal’s Deals page? I don’t see any price difference…

Probably you need to register, if i’m correct the price is a couple of dollars less using M4DM4X compared to intl outdoor.
EDIT, just checked, it seems the prices have changed and the prices are now similar! Too bad, so it’s no deal anymore.
Neal is very busy lately, Chinese newyear coming up and he is just married, so it will be sent, but communication from him will be at minimum.

Nop, there is not

Emisar looks great. Also for cold winters….
Do you have similar advice for a 32650 ot 26650 light

I do not have any experience with 32650 cells, nor flashlights that carry them, sorry.

26650?

The only 26650 i own is a Convoy L6, which is still stock, but thats quite a light, 3800 lumen on turbo.
Good compromise between output and runtime, and the quality is fantastic, solid as a rock, but its not for Everyday Carry.

There are several threads about it, and there are plenty of parts available to modify it. In stock it’s already great, but it’s a great host to modify as well.

It all depends on your criteria, what do you think is important on a light?

Budget light: Ultrafire DV-S9 diving light?

More expensive but one of the lights I adore without having it: Klarus G20
Member Fin17 usually has some code for this one , check here: GearBEST's Sale . Rovyvon A5 $15.99 . Convoy S21 $15.99

I got a bit sick of trying to chose… so I just bought a FiTorch MR35.

I’m going to buy the one you suggested too.
Two questions.
A] What cells does it take? Button, flat or raised. All?
B] “floody 10623 optic instead of 10622 clear optic ( +$1.00 )”
How much more floody? I have a Convoy BD04. How do both optics compare to that flood wise. If they are cheap and easy to replace I might buy both but see no option for that.

I don’t know the difference, but mine are clear optics on the Emisar D4. LEDs are XP-G2 S4 3D (5000K). My guess is that the “floody” optics will improve the beam at close range and maybe give you less throw. For a close range it will probably make it better.
About the cells, I would recommend Sony US18650VTC6 , non protected batteries.
Some beamshots of the Emisar D4 to see the beam.
First at 45m, second at 70m.

How about the L6, Convoy’s big thrower? The L6 is $45-$50 with a coupon or discount code.

Convoy recommend protected Keeppower 5200mAH 26650 batteries for the L6.

Left to right: S2, S2, C8, L6

+1 on the D4
Beautiful light and user interface, but gets very hot very fast on high and turbo. Great during the cold winter

1200 vs 6000lm what’s the difference?

4800 Lumen :person_facepalming:

the battery alone will cost $30
plus it is too big to go in a pocket

i would skip it and look for BLF A6 or Astrolux S1 with warm beam
single 18650
1500-2000 lumens with good battery

or the convoy lights others mentioned.

wle

a battery for the D4?
30$?
Are you using Lithium-Gold batteries?
5$ https://www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_196913.html

Edit: If you mean the L6 - yes, it’s a “bit” too big for a regular pocket, but the batteries are still just a bit over 10$ for both if you use Liitokalas

no, i meant that diving light the OP mentioned, 32650 cell

32650 6500mAh for $11.43
https://www.gearbest.com/batteries-and-cases/pp_1126199.html

ok then, the OP is welcome to a 2 lb pocket and ‘’6000 lumens’’

wle

No idea about the weight of the cell. It’s just that that diameter is about the max. to hold comfortably. High mAh and still pretty small.
BTW I don’t want such cells for extreme lumens but for runtime. Yes, I know I can also swap 18650 cells
