Won't it get turbo on 2 16340's ? It's plenty bright either way and fits in your hand like a glove.

from the reviews i've read it might or might not..the one on CPF says it will do turbo on an 18650 but not officially..at the end of the thread they said it wouldn't do turbo..but then the reviewer said it would..I don't know..I still want the light lol

edit: from looking at this beamshot it appears the t20cs will do turbo on an 18650..looks freagin bright..i'm back to being pumped about this light lol

I have not tested yet, still to light outside but the website says:-

*Runtime:

1*18650 (650 lumens) - 90 minutes

2*18650 (860 lumens) - 110 minutes

The T20CS does go into turbo using 1-18650 or 2-16340's I just checked both ways.

Just did a brief test outside.

All I can say is that the 7G5 V2 is awesome!!

I puts out an amazing beam with unbelievable throw for a reflector based light.

As expected it totally overshadows the XT20 which is not really supposed to be a thrower but up until now it has been my wow factor light.

I have lots of canyons around me so will get out soon and do some proper tests while looking for coyotes, deer etc.

I just went out to the park across the road. I stood in the baseball diamond where the batter stands and shone the light across to the backstop netting of the diamond the other side of the park which it lit up perfectly and then went beyond that to one of the houses up on the ridge which again it lit up perfectly.

I am truly amazed. I can only imagine what something like the Dereelight DBV V3 aspherical will do!

Got my V2 today. Fit and finish look pretty good. Two tiny imperfections in the reflector which I doubt will effect performance. Charging some batteries now. Depending on how I go I *might* get some photos. I've never done beam shots before though so....

PS. If you get one, don't be an idiot like me :). The extender goes in the middle, not on the end lol. I spent about 5 minutes wondering why I couldn't screw the tail cap on before I looked at some photos on the net. Idiot. Fortunately I don't seem to have damaged it.

My Crelant 7G5 v2 should arrive this week. I'll do a review with some nice pics and beamshots ...so be patient ;)

I have also the first 7G5, so they'll be compared to each other.
