It’s mainly because protected 26650 cost double the price of protected 18650.
Protected 26650 are also very hard to find right now.
Is the L2 extension tube in Simons link below the same tube as the L6? I need two of these tubes and they
really look the same as the L6 but I want to make 100% sure before I order them.
That looks like an L6 tube, if I’m correct the L2 Tube is made of 2 parts as the L2 can run off 1 or 2, 26650 cells.
In saying that it would still work for both the L2 and L6.
Can anyone tell me if i can reflow an XHP70.2 LED onto a stock L6 MCPCB (XHP70)?
Same…Block or Ring style 2x26650 tubes will work between the L2/L6 even the 2pc L2 tubes. all interchange/lego.

I got 2 protected KeepPower 26650s from Banggood for $18.11. I used the generic 4BLF discount code. Ordered 6 December and received just after Christmas. These are the batteries Convoy recommend for the L6.
They are in stock. I just checked.
the keeppowers are real shortage why its drivin me nuts… been checking nkon forever and they are never in stock… i dont get it, is the production on those halted for now or?

Is 10-12A discharge ok for a 26650 battery for the L6?
10-12A is rocking along pretty good, fairly high end without being a top fuel dragster.

That is about the most a xhp70 can handle.
The xhp70.2 can handle 18 to 22 amps.
