So how many people on the 555 list have the flashlight been delivered?
That’s something what I want to know. Because For me It’s already 7 weeks ago I am now in week 8 that’s 2 months :weary:

Like I said before, there is no 555 list as far as shipping is concerned. All 850 orders are mixed together. Since we don’t have statistics, I will guess that “most” of the early payers have their lights. Anyone that ordered with registered shipping was not part of the first 3 shipments. So obviously they don’t have their light yet.

There were around 170 people on Neal’s #1 to #555 paid shipping list that ordered with registered mail (according to another member, I didn’t actually count them), but some of them switched to DHL so the real number is unknown.

So right now it looks like those with registered shipping and those that paid “later” are still waiting. Plus there are still a couple early payers who chose DHL and still don’t have their lights. So it’s got a random quality about it as well. :disappointed: :person_facepalming: :confounded:

Ps, for some folks it might be 12 to 13 weeks.

No. 116, I first apply for registered shipping. I soon changed to DHL, I sent Neal email two times to change from registered to DHL.
Of course, no repy from him.

To sum up, I still do not have GT and also no information when GT will arrive.

Not happy, but I can only wait, as I understand… :cry:

I only got my PM to pay on the 2nd December. I paid about an hour after the PM and thought I’d be front of the list. Didnt know more had gone out prior. I feel less special now.

All of the PMs were sent out within 5 minutes of each other, per batch.

The first batch of PMs went out on 1 Dec (UTC –5), but in some countries it may have been 2 Dec already.

I am counting on 23% tax and maybe a duty in my country. How much will I have to pay for DHL? Maybe it’s better to have a registered postal package?

Sure in EU the registered package is a much better for cost compared to DHL.
Check the local DHL site for the prices.

Clearly you have not been following the shipping discussion. For EU and DHL there are nasty surprises around where the recipient ends up paying extra. I do not mean taxes and customs fees but protection money.

With DHL you never know if it is paid in full until they deliver.

keep in mind that batteries with registered mail can take some time to ship to Europe. I ordered some at Aliexpress and I had to wait for 6 - 8 weeks.

Yes, DHL and Europe is a bad combi when looking at tax and administration costs. 30-50 euro extra. At shipping DHL is the best, unbelievable how solid and fast they are.

Careful with DHL. They might ask you for 20 or 40 and if you refuse, package is returned. Nothing the sender can do either.

DHL is the worst price choice for EU I know. For company documents is ok but for other things …

Clearly…… I was telling him shipping was included in the price. That is all.

I never claimed to be an expert on Customs,Taxes, or extortion practices of any Country…. clearly.
