I ordered one of those “army type” backpacks on the GB official deals page, 28bux, and thought I was gonna get raped on shipping because I saw some people grexing about paying more in shipping than the cost of the pack, but I got the option for unregistered (:money_mouth_face:, registered ($:money_mouth_face:, priority line, and expedited ($$$$:money_mouth_face:… and priority line was free! :laughing:
I thought I was going to see the shipping costs and just cancel the order, but it worked out.
Whatever I might want to get, I ain’t doing untracked anymore, but if the cost is ever “too much”, I’m just going to pass on it.

Untracked to the UK is often rail mail. That gets working tracking numbers all the way across asia to Poland. Once the package is inside the EU it goes quiet for a few days until Royal Mail takes over.
Most of the time untracked is free. Tracked airmail is also often free but can be slower than untracked. Priority line to the UK is often less than 50 cents.
