Overview: All Eneloop batteries 2005-2024

Cool , thanks.

I will probably send the battery to other testers if they like to...to do some thorough testing. I only have a Opus BT C3100 for testing.

Do Eneloops benefit from conditioning (cycling a few times of discharge/charge) the way ordinary non-LSD nimh cells do?

Nevermind, found your answer at Eneloop101:

Battery dissection video: What's inside Eneloop and LIDL NiMh cells (fire, apparently) - YouTube

Eneloop starts around 09:00

Third one is a high-capacity 2500 mAh alkaline containing chemistry that catches fire spontaneously (“pyrophoric”) around 16:00

The new Panasonic BQ-CC65 is available now!

A video of the fake eneloop package. I had a very hard time getting the actual batteries in focus, so this is just about the package.

Has there been any updated testing on recent Made in China Eneloops to see if they have improved??

AAcycler did a test on the JP eneloop lite vs CN eneloop lite, and th JP clearly won. I havent seen any recent test for the std eneloops.

Anyone know if the BK-3MCC are still made in Japan? I ordered some a couple of weeks ago but they have not arrived yet.

The BK-3MCC are the ones sold in Japan. If things havent changed in the past weeks they are surely still made in Japan.

It`s different if you are talking about the BK-3MCCA or MCCE. The MCCE might be made in China, depending on where you ordered them.

That helps, thanks. They have been mailed from Japan too. I will remember now not to choose the ones from China if they haven't proven themselves yet.

If they are directly from Japan you should be good.

They've be shipped from Japan over 3 weeks ago so hopefully they are going to come soon.

3 weeks is about normal. Usually depending on the mail system in the destination country. Avg is 2-3 weeks.

Got them finally after 5 weeks. They came charged and turbo last much longer with these in my EA81 than the alkaline batteries. They really seem to be worth them money.

Which is rather interesting. My in-laws sent us something from Japan a few weeks ago, and told us they don't have the slow shipping option anymore, so 5 weeks is really long! But I'm glad you got them!!!!

I got them from an ebay seller in Japan, but it did finally arrive thankfully!

Was looking at your where to buy list but nothing really for Canada. Your Amazon US link will ship to Canada but still ends up being nearly double the price of the Japanese ebay sellers for eneloop. Tried your NL link too but same thing, way too expensive with shipping.
