You don’t need to use 8 cells in the GT.
The long battery tube is for balance as i understand.
I plan to leave one carrier empty.
8 cells were never about the need for them with an xhp35. It was about balance. The short tube version is horribly unblanced and literally hurts your wrist to hold for any length of time.
Not to mention it looks silly.

I agree. The only have experience with the long tube but the short seems like it would torque the wrist a good bit.
Definitely Mateminco/Astrolux, same tube and head machining as MF02.
So it’s module design too. There must be dual heads for this one.
