*** NEW *** Haikelite MT09R Monster lights *** Update *** 2018-07-03

Honestly as far as color right now I am not sure... I was only told about this very late last night. I will be posting more information about it as I get it. I have a shipment due in tomorrow so I am pretty sure that Dale and I will be on the phone tomorrow at some point.

Thanks terry, and dale. You guys are above and beyond in the communication… i also read that you guys are inspecting every lights before it ship out to the customers, and top notch warranty… we couldnt ask for more… i will be supporting haikelite brand just like an acebeam and fenix.

I will be doing that with every single light that ships from my company here in the U.S.

In fact I just printed out the the inspection labels about an hour ago. Once I check each light that label will be applied over the front flap where you open the box so that if you receive a light shipped from us and you don't see that label or there is a tear in it you will know that the box has been opened after it left my warehouse.

Holy cow! That is some exciting news! Do you think the extra 4 cells will result in more lumens or just longer runtime?

In theory, it should produce higher lumens due to less voltage sag under load.

Hi Terry, so the tube will screw into the existing tube acting as an extension or it will it be a 1 piece extension tube that replaces the original 4x18650 tube?

I think it has to be a single piece instead of a +4 add on. I don’t think you can maintain the same 2S voltage with an add on, hence a new single piece is required. I could be wrong though, as I’m not too good in these electrical puzzles.

Another video, this time it’s the Navy Blue version. And it’s gorgeous! At certain angles you can see the lustrous metallic shine of the blue anodisation, and it’s really nice and sophisticated! :sunglasses:

Wow that color is beautiful! I’ll probably buy a Haikelite flashlight in the future with that color. Thanks for the video.

It’s a limited edition colour for the MT09R. Standard production colour is only Black and Silver/White. If I’m not mistaken, Terry still has some Navy Blue models left that were not sold during the group buy. So if they’re gone they’re gone, so you’d better hurry!

Navy Blue does seem to be a standard colour for the new SC26 though.

Oh I already bought two MT09R already so probably going to wait for upcoming products.

Cool! I got one Green NW 70.2, and one Tan/Sand/Yellow/Khaki/Wehavenoideawhatcolourthisis NW 70.2. :sunglasses:
Which two did you get?

I like to call it gold. Most beautiful color I’ve seen yet. I bought two of those. One 4000k, one 5000k

Yeah it’s definitely pretty. Really was a difficult choice, but first I went for Blue (the original bright blue) instead of Tan. But after Haikelite changed to the current Navy Blue I switched to Tan. The green is quite special too.
Button top VTC6 and 30Q are anxiously waiting for their arrival. :sunglasses:

i was torn between the khaki and the blue one. Both are Nice i wished i can order both.

So I’ve been thinking about the 8x18650 battery tube for this light. It’s going to look great, especially if it will be available in the group buy colours as well, so green, blue and sand/tan. But wouldn’t a dedicated handle on such a monster light be the cherry on the cake? :sunglasses:

I think if this thing can maintain the heat from 4000 lumens, then it would make sense to have an 8x18650 battery tube. If it can only maintain 2k lumens, then I don’t see much use for an 8x extension tube unless it makes the turbo mode brighter.

^ Makes sense. But I do notice with my Astrolux MF01 that batteries do drain quite fast if you use turbo (~10000 lumens) regularly. It’s a bit borderline whether it makes sense or not, but man it will look good.

the retail lights will peak on 7000 lumens or so… only a few sample lights dont produce more then 4000 lumen for some reason. As the light is 7500 lumens to Haikelite it would be strange it it peaks just half that, so no worry.

I think he’s talking about continuous output that the light can maintain, not max.
