From the emails and basically no one seems to know anything I do believe it is lost or destroyed.
This much later it really does not matter that much now as I will have a shipment of 70.2's arriving tomorrow I believe and sometime in the next week a second shipment which will have both 70.2 versions as well as 35 High versions... And I will still try as best I can to make sure footage gets posted as fast a possible,
Some of you may have your own by that time but if by chance they have not arrived I will be posting footage ass soon as that second shipment arrives.
I should have also said that once that first shipment arrives and I get them all inventoried into the system and each one is inspected and tested they will be available for sale on the stores website.
Thanks for the shots, the beam looks pretty tight. Any chance for a shot in a darker environment? We are all eagerly waiting for some images of the 35 hi…
Like I mentioned only 5 MT09R's in 35 high left the factory with that driver and those still had a light output of 5k lumen...
And the chances of 2 of those 5 lights ending up suddenly being talked about on tje same day in just a couple of hours of each other.
The first one has no means of testing anything but still somehow named a lumen output. Which is pretty close to the 5k that particular driver was pushing out. The secobd one we are not seeing and those must be some close and shiny cillings.
I will wait a few more days and get one from the production run and test it with actual measuring equimpment and see how well it performs.
All sarcasm aside. If you have an MT09R 35 high Dale has asked where they were acquired from.
The 5 samples should not be easily available and they want to locate them so they can have the correct driver installed.
If you will contact Dale he will arrange for tthe driver replacment.
Care is required when doing a ceiling bounce test for output measurement. The D4 is a significantly floodier light than the MT09R XHP35, which could result in non linear relation between lux reading and lumen output.
^ Looks pretty much identical to me (unfortunately).
Hold on:
Is this OK? Shouldn’t you have fixed settings for both shots? With auto mode your camera is going to correct for the brighter light (if it’s brighter).
