Lansky Master’s Edge?
Review: outstanding FURA titanium flipper with D2 blade
Have a look at my review about the FURA titanium flipper with tons of pics. Excellent, inexpensive high-quality flipper with D2 blade steel and ball bearings.
Thats not the one im refering to something in smallers V, but apreciate your concern
I take my leave showing my current collection of knives
Still mising a Ganzo 7511 that im wating to arrive. I discovered that I fancy more flippers knives ,especially with ball bearings or roller berings like the ruike.
do you put the spine of the blade on the bottom thing or just hold the knife in midair?

I stumbled upon these:
Black
Black2
The stock photos are heavily photoshopped so ask for a real one.
Anyone know why Gearbest shows “Buy 1 get 1 free” on their current “Outdoor Knives” promotion?
I don’t see how to BoGo anything…

“Haha, made ya look!!”, maybe?
Unno, I didn’t find anything, either.
(Damn, they got me, too.)
Yeah, I figured a bogo deal would make up for their high shipping costs on knives.
The first knife shown in the promo doesn’t even work (GANZO G803 - GY) - it’s full price!
Anyone know of a clone of this? (Boker Lancer)
It’s a “Front Flipper” Reminded me of the Y-START Mini LK5009 that was discussed a few pages back.

Check on Dhgate. More to choose from. 3300, 3350, different blade styles and colours.
Mike
A bit like the y-start lk5009 but bigger.
Hi all. My son does some basic hiking and camping. I would like to buy him a full tang fixed blade budget knife. I do not know much about fixed blade knifes, so can anyone provide a few suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Frank A.
Hi, lots of options, depending on your budget, blade length, stainless or not, USA made or not, etc…
On a budget for a very good outdoor knife?
Have a look at the Terävä Jääkäripuukko (made in Finland), available in carbon or stainless, 110mm or 140mm blade length, with leather sheath (or no sheath!)
(may be temporarily out of stock until the next batch is made)
Lots of (good) reviews on Youtube
Good points AgentSteel. I guess budget would be around $30-$40. Blade length 4” - 5”. Stainless steel. Can be manufactured anywhere. Thanks!
Does somebody have this FURA model? Seems really good with titanium and d2.
If got another fura and i can say they use some serieus good steel on their knives.
I have one. I don’t recommend it particularly.
It has poor ergonomics and doesn’t flip very well. Blade way too thick. Anodizing is thin, was already full of scratches when I got it. The photo above is photoshopped to make color seem amazing … the knife in real life looks nothing like this.

That’s a shame, most bushcraft blades are in carbon steel
Besides, they often have a coating.

Maybe you got a lemon. The 2 Furas I handled were made well. Thick blade stock indeed but this model is the closest to a slicer the Furas got so far.

Check out post 15. One of the best bang for your buck bush-craft knives on the market.
Morakniv Companion. Not much to look at, but that is one effective tool. High carbon steel that can be razor sharp and stay sharp longer than stainless steal, great grippy handle, and in a very handy size. All for $10 to $15. Blade is not black normally. The blade below was force tarnished. [image]
