TA you have a point on that for sure. When I got my first q8 it was a lot different than my 5700-6500k lights. I have since the come to really love the 5000k color temp. This is why I am still using the stock 4000k emitter. I really want to leave it stock and I’m using it without other cooler lights around. We don’t get much snow here but we had a rare 5inches last month and the GT was beautiful in the white snow surroundings. It really lit an entire tree line up at a distance of .9 miles. My grandmother actually lives down a hill out of sight next to that tree line and I got her to go out on her front porch and look up at the trees. I turned the gt on turbo and she sucked in a breath and asked where I was. She thought I was close to her house and was amazed when she found out I was on my back deck nearly a mile away. Unbelievable light you guys developed for sure

Oh! that makes me really sad. I followed the whole development of the lamp here in the forum. unfortunately i had an accident at the beginning of November and i was in the hospital for the last 4 months. I am back home now and now this message.

I wouldn’t be so sure not to be worried, i was in the 2nd batch of “supposed to” lights, paid and all, and i’m not even on Neal’s list, and have been told to “just be patent” and “no worries, you’re on the list”… even after my Early concerns were “passed off”…. & yet no, i’m not. i’ve been ignored or passed off at every mention of MY concerns so don’t be surprised if you are as well.
Neals paid list is not complete. I think it only goes up to Dec 10th. So there’s maybe 150 names missing from it. It was helpful to a lot people, but not everyone.
Also, your not helping anyone by coming on here and posting your fears and doubts and telling others they should be worried as well. I can assure this group buy is not a scam to steal your money. It’s just slow. Neal will get you your light or else your full amount will be refunded if that’s what you prefer.

Malaysia might be a middle shipping point. China to Malaysia, then Malaysia to Greece.
They probably did that to either reduce shipping costs or something to do with customs. Maybe reduce or eliminate customs fees?

I used mine for a short while last night & must admit that I also didn”t think that it was that warm of a tint, well to be honest not warm at all compared to what I was expecting.
I didn”t have any other lights with me however to compare the tint to so next time I will take a couple of other lights with me to compare tint.
The tint is fantastic, of course i wouldn’t mind a bit more red/rose for better CRI but the color temp is perfect for my taste (everything doesn’t look lik shades of grey as is the case with cool tints) and helps cutting through bad weather as a bonus.
I’m not in a big hurry for my BLF GT with batteries originally they said the middle of January it’s now almost March any updates on when they will ship I think I was #957 but it would be nice to get an update about our shipment maybe once a week. Thank You
