I think it may be the successor to the HP1 that appears to now be discontinued, but still available on Amazon. I’ve been wanting to grab one of those, it comes up for around $7-$8 every so often but I keep missing it.

I quite like the HX5. Nice white tint. Nice beam profile in both spot and flood. CRI plenty good to easily differentiate wire colors in a harness. Extremely easy to deploy when clipped head up in my back pocket. Forward click with momentary. It’s my most used light, partly because of how easy it is to deploy. The tail cap threads have become a bit dry and gritty after several battery changes over the last year, so I need to try to relocate my lube. Sometimes I wish it had a second, lower mode, but setting it to flood mode helps compensate for lack of lower mode.

I found several of this model when I was updating the list recently, it’s also made in the other head diameters like the 14xx/15xx (38mm, 50mm & 67mm). However I only could find them with IR and red/green emitters, no white LEDs so I didn’t add them to my list.
Yes I also thought they were very interesting! The 67mm one you linked is the only one on Aliexpress with a white XM-L emitter, there are a few sizes listed there with white Q5 and one with XRE, but looking deeper with google I also found a 38mm with white XM-L2. I’ll add these to my list in the OP.

This is said to be the same as Fitorch P30Z but with diamond knurling, Litesam is Fitorch’s amazon exclusive line.

It’s a very well built flashlight and the beam is great at full zoom in and also good at full flood. The body style of the light somewhat reminds me of the Solarforce L2. It has a forward/momentary rear switch, and also has very good/aggressive knurling!
It does have a dark spot when zoomed in-between fully in and fully out, this is my first TIR zoomie so I wasn’t used to that (or aware of the characteristic)
