Whats the default LED in this? I hope it wont be another bland, run-of-the-mill ultra thrower with any of the HI series, be it XPL or XHP.
Would like to see this with XHP50.2, high CRI NW or XHP70.2, both LEDs properly hard driven. Much more usable IMHO than any of these laser beam throwers.

Is this thing dead in the water? Been over 3 months with no updates
Initially it was suppossd to come out last December. Now he is saying March 2018.
If it comes out in March, great, but I am not holding my breath at this point.
The developements in leds and drivers and batteries is so fast at the moment that Astrolux may constantly be re-thinking the design to stay on top of the possibilities. Being affordable and up-to-date is their claim-to-fame and they are doing a good job at it lately

freeme stated no updates till after Chinese new year which lasts 7 days from the 16th so maybe around the 25th or so we may get an update.

With many entries to declare interest is easy to get lost on the updates 
freeme is updating the OP showing the images and other info. Maybe he can put a date on those updates (on post #1) so that people can refer to that post when searching for those updates
I searched all of Freemeās posts, but pictures donāt show up in the results, just the text. I saw his post āMore updates in Marchā and went right past it. Lol

Hopefully, it will come with an optional meachanical tailcap switch if it doesnāt normally come with one - canāt tell from the photos yet. Using tailcap switch it would be nice for memory mode.
No problem I keep a look on this thread frequently as I was formerly interested on it (not anymore, though) and I wanna see the final result, so here and there I catch the updates and the pics
