It's my favorite light and has a beautiful tint. If you look at some youtube vids showing the Q8 vs some other similar types but with double the lumen output, the Q8 beam actually looks better. Nice touches with the firmware where you can check the voltage, use ramping or the many modes etc. It's just a quality all around light.

Best light i own in my little collection, I don't own so much flashlight but this is by far my favorite one!
I was in the same situation before ordering it, haven't spent more than 30$ on a flashlight, but I'm really happy with this purchase, if you can buy it under 50$ with a discount code it's a bargain, and I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.
The Blf Q8 just have everything i wanted in a flashlight, a lot of lumen, a nice tint, a very nice ui, a good mix between flood and throw, a nice design, a good autonomy with 4 18650, it's compact, well build and so cheap for this kind of output.
And a last pro, the project came from blf.

Sounded great but didn’t work that way for me. Still $72.80. Unless I’m missing something.

But yea, the Q8 is my most used light by far. I’ve actually bought 5 Q8’s (2 for me, 3 for friends), and every light was flawless.
