Too bad Manker UI puts the turbo mode along with the annoying blinky modes. I wish the Turbo mode was in the same grouping as the regular modes. Until Manker fixes the driver with the turbo in blinky grouping, I will not buy another Manker.
the light you’re talking about is a stainless steel BLF light and if someone wants a light to be run on high only then expect to be looking for something with a serious heat sink and some weight to it . not a AAA nichia BLF 348 stainless light …try it on a 10440 if you want to see real heat .
there are 100 people a day looking to buy one so sell it …
well a double click switches turbo on or off. Seems not too hard to master.
I don’t have this lamp, but if the ui Diagramm is right a double click leads you to turbo from ON or OFF. I would say that is a shortcut.
Yes.You can easily access/leave turbo by double click from any level or from OFF without ever accessing any blinky mode. I hate all disco modes and they are well hidden here.
Funny thing is that when I use that red filter for a while and take it off, that nice Nichia tint suddenly feels grass green for a while. :cowboy_hat_face:
I have not tried green yet - I do not know when/why actually green filter supposed to be used. Red is pleasant at night when you wake up. Green is not.
I use a headband with the Fenix hl50 it performs very well. In the flashlight you can not activate the full turbo mode quite quickly, it is connected with the voltage drop on the eneloop and we get something between the full turbo and the high about 160Lumen.
Besides, it’s a great flashlight
My E03H should be here later this week, or more likely next week.
I intend to use it as an EDC light without the headband, partially because I have difficulties wearing a headband when I am already wearing two hearing aids and a pair of glasses!
Looks nice! Especially with that LED, but the lack of a mode between 0.5 and 50 lumens, the mode memory, AND the strobe in the main cycle making it impossible to avoid means it’s no good for me.
