Astrolux S41S: The best 4-emmitter Nichia I own.
Astrolux BLF A6: I EDC this one the most. Rugged, excellent lumens for its size & weight, plus useful mode spacing.
Astrolux MF02: Most recent purchase, and by far the most throwy I own. Impressive fit & finish and liking the UI.
So, these are my 3 favorite Astrolux for 3 different reasons.
Someday when I have more time I’d like to review all 3.
s1 is most favorite one.
The Astrolux BLF A6 was my first quality flashlight and still my go-to light for most situations. I’m planning on purchasing an Astrolux S41 the next time I catch them on sale!
I have an Astrolux S1 and an S41. I also like the S42 but the issues at launch stopped me from buying it, and now I’m just hanging around waiting for deeper discount when newer models come out.

Hi, my favourite is the Astrolux S1 for its versatility, nice tint and the BLF driver. I also have the Astrolux C8 for longer range applications.
I’ve reviewed the MF01 CW, I found it searingly bright. I have lights with more lumens but because the MF01 throws nearly all its light in a large hotspot you get a sharp pain behind the eyes looking at it! Great value for money and the breathing light is a genius touch, I can’t even find the on button on the Imalent DX80 (all that water and not a drop to drink)

I bought several astrolux for review. The C8 is fantastic but the other models like it.
Got the Astrolux s41s and the SS, and I like them both a lot. Had the Astrolux s42 and was not impressed at all with the UI. Also I have the Old Lumens a01 and again not impressed with the UI. It would have been perfect if it was not next mode memory.
My favorite is the s41s. Great size and great driver. Only thing I would say is to add the bleed resistor to the a6 driver and include the lighted switch. Would add minimal cost to the build, and would make it that much better from the factory.
If you would put a better UI on the s42, I would buy another in a heartbeat. Something along the lines of what the GT, BLF Q8, Emisar D4…
My favorite is MF01.
I would like to suggest the MF01 and MF04 include a long tube option for those that want 8 cell capacity.
S41S for me. Quad LED emitters. Tried and proven UI. Tough and durable stainless steel body (18650), coupled with a copper head design to dissipate heat. I don’t mind the extra weight (really) because this light is for home use anyway. Clicky tail switch for simplicity, for more durability, and for easy replacement/upgrade. Also, less parasitic drain. One thing I would like to improve is the quality of the switch, and perhaps full 100% compatibility with aftermarket parts like Noctigon 4XP, Carclo optics, etc, etc.
The light I carry most often is the Astrolux/BLF A6 with runner up being the S41S with a black 18650 body and SS tail.
My favorite Astrolux is the MF01 never had anything so bright, it amazes everyone I show it to. Keep up the great work.

S1 is #1 flashlight for family use to inspect sore throat and kids ears.)
