Looks awesome to me. :sunglasses:
Notice it says “MK38” on the light, although it’s known as the MK39.

There are several new flashlights atm that combine a XHP35 thrower with additional flood light, but this looks like the best and most useful one to me: compact with 4x18650, comfortable with a good handle with switches on top, and I assume 2000 lumen throw plus 8000 lumen flood! I trust Manker to have made a good thermal management and a well-thoughtout user interface but I’m not 100% with the Manker styling. I would not mind at all to own one of these

Nice :+1: , definitely innovative and practical design. Manker what you wait? Send me one

I think the result of this is that there are different ways of execution of this combination, so we will have new different and more unique looking lights.

I’ve always liked the look of a handle on such a light, but never was a fan of a handle design with integrated buttons. It’s ergonomic, but I don’t like the idea that you cannot remove the handle.

That video was worth it if only for the German-to-English CC translation.

i dont think 8 leds will reach 8000 lumen, more likely about 6000 lumen
i really like the form

Shouldn’t be a problem if they use XP-L HD or XP-L2 emitters on V5 or V6 bins. Even the Emisar D4 can pump out more than 4k startup lumens.

Despite the light looking very interesting, I won’t buy another Manker due to the awful UI. Grouping turbo with strobe modes is extremely annoying. That’s why I never use my MK34 despite I like the design so much. I should have paid more to get the MK34vn, which has a UI to make the light usable.

Can’t you just send it to Vinh?

You are telling the world in various threads that you will not buy any more Mankers until they ‘fix’ their user interface, so that makes me feel inclined to tell the world that I fairly like the Manker UI, they really did a lot right I believe, when in use it works supple, you can tell that they tested it out and finetuned the timings, what even high end flashlight manufacturers sometimes fail to do (i.e. Jetbeam E40R :person_facepalming: ). They just made a choice that you do not like and there will be others who will be particularly happy about turbo in another group (but ready accessable). Personally I’m neutral about that choice.

do you like it?

It would look better in my hand…

Wow, I could use one of these on the boat. The thrower to find the dock from off shore, and flood to pull into the slip.

Looks really nice. Spec says 6000 total lumens.

This light reminds me KLARUS RS80. Similar concept, but MK39 looks better & much smaller.

I will still buy Klarus RS80 if I have the money and choice.

Interesting. Flood and throw in one package. The beginnings of a Swiss Army knife kind of flashlight.

I love it, a bit like a Blackshaodow Terminator, I guess we will see this in ScFi movies, I want one.

That certainly looks like the best way to combine flood and throw with an actual good sized reflector for the throw part.

Dont think so. It could be much smaller if quad optics was placed in the center right above glass lens.

That would make shedding the heat out of them quite difficult without affecting the thrower beam.
