Interesting Looking AA Light

Hi all. I saw this light and am interested in it. Does anyone have any experience with the light, or with the selling company: Enogear? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Website is not secure, one person company, spotty communication. Proceed at your own risk. IMO

FWIW… they at one point had a BLF presence. There are complaints about spotty / non-existent communication since early Jan 2018.

I ordered one of these in january but until now is not arrived,I opened a dispute on paypal.

My second order paid in January then it went out of stock.

The seller email me asking if I want to refund or wait. I took a gamble to wait then it arrived in March.

The light didn’t come with plastic box and it got small dent.

Made few orders in Jan - they did not appear by begining of Feb, then followed short communication with seller - did not help much. I opened dispute in Paypal and refunded the money. Then suddenly half of the order appeared end of Feb - in a plastic box and excellent condition. I paid the money back to the seller and got a promise I will receive the rest. Overall strange experience, but the lights I received are good. Needless to say, my biggest catch was brass beauty, it is already with Convoy 12 group driver and Nichia 219 - sweet light.

Wait is this really Nichia 219 light? The description says CREE XPG2. But a 4500k NW Nichia 219 would be sweet! How bright is the light and do you like it?

Nice looking light. What size driver and led does it take?

It comes from the store as described - 2,4A driver and XP-G2. I opted for the neutral one. But anyway swapped the driver and the emitter on the next day. With Convoy driver (3A) and the Nichia 219 it gets quite hot quite fast (1-2 minutes on high), at 50% it has no problem with heat. I guess this was the reason they have not put 3A driver initially. As for the output - well, beam is similar to Convoy S2+, my tube sphere shows 800 lumens on high, but I am not yet sure in the calibration 100%, need more testing.
Overall very happy.
Just not to be way off topic: I have received also the stainless steel light - looks and feels good, I have 2 gripes - 1)no pocket clip in the kit and 2) The light will show a small visible copper threading (~ 1mm) at the place where the threads for the head are. If you look closer to one of the pictures you will see it. I don’t like this aesthetics, so the light is gone already  Initially I thought I received deffective light, but then looked closer and saw the ring on the picture - just look at the last cooling fin.
