Texas, do you not have the direct with the person in charge on lumintop?

The issue with reflectors was lumintop that told directly for you or neal told?

This story is becoming more and more confusing.
I do not have a clear understanding of the situation.

  1. How does the blocking of the Neal’s PayPal account affect the delivery of our flashlights?
  2. Has money been previously transferred to the manufacturer?
  3. Have we reached an agreement with the manufacturer that previously paid lanterns are sent under the same conditions? I mean - no extra charge.
  4. If Neal is very busy, can the manufacturer provide lists of the last 50 parcels?
  5. Is it possible to communicate with Neal through Whatsapp? Someone from the team of GT.
  6. How can we help solve the situation, the last of 50? What we can do?

The reflectors delays are real, I have heard this from both Neal and lumintop. Trust me, they gained nothing by delaying the shipment of lights, they wanted to have them all shipped last year and be open to public sales months ago. Why people would suggest otherwise is beyond me.

Dealing with Chinese requires you to know their business habits and what’s done different over there. Also speaking Chinese is a must if details should not be lost in translation.

That person is Neal. Without him there would be no Group buy with Lumintop

He also received the money and probably is paying Lumintop per batch/shipment. He is also supplying the shipping addresses per batch and keeps track of what has been shipped.

At least that is how I understand it.

1: It doesn’t effect past orders. Just future orders and the ability for lumintop to have access to the funds from prior orders.
2: I am not privy to the details of the payment arrangement. Although I assume that lumintop has been paid in batches for prior orders.
3: This was settled months ago, lumintop would eat the extra shipping costs but would use cheaper / slower shipping methods to some areas. People could pay an extra fee to use a faster/better service if they chose.
4: I have not gotten any replies since the last shipment, last I heard I would have the tracking numbers last week. It will not be posted publicly, that much I can tell you.
5 This has been attempted as well.
6: I am pretty sure there is nothing to solve with the last 50 orders, they should all be shipped and on the way as of last week. We simply don’t have the tracking numbers for them. We do have a list of outstanding issues that needs to be addressed ASAP though.

Neal has been good up until CNY. While he was not exactly fast to communicate before then I could at least count on a response within a few days.

Ever since CNY I have only received 2 or 3 messages total.

It’s not about the last 50,there are other issues that haven’t been taken care in weeks ,no answer at all - seams like Neal is the only chinese capable to speak english ,but in fact,as he never answered me to my orders , i believe that LT would need to step up and fix the issues,as they surely got my money - if Neal is too busy to handle this issues,it would be nice to admit it and the Giggle Team look for other option ,Lumintop has so good comunicating persons that are selling the GT through other channels,is there anything that it stops the GiggleTeam to deal directly with LT?

For the last days Neal has apparently been sending the tracking numbers to those people himself!

This will be looked into if Neal doesn’t reappear this week.

Up to now it was easier and simpler for all involved to go through Neal but recent happening are changing that.

Hi guys, I try posting as little as possible to stop this thread getting so long but just want to throw this out there: If Lumintop fail to honour the rest of the groupbuy then surely that will affect the FW3A gb (over $33k already) and any future deals.

We've not been getting good updates from Neal recently.

Mostly his utter lack of communication since CNY, putting me in an even harder place then I have been the last 5 months and putting more and more work on me by the day.

If someone manages to order the issues of the shipping, although will not be it easy, I am still interested in my GT.

I don’t mind Neal’s celebration,neither honeymoon or wedding or whatever,i respect it,but the GT i payed on 2 december ,suposedly sent on 7february wich only shows “preregistered,pending of deposit” ever since, and Neal’s silence,definetely is frustrating - as almost 4 months now since i payed ,the same cells that i ordered through m4xm4x site to Neal,never arrived and neither been sent ,even though i payed separately shipping so i could get them be4 the GT - if Neal cannot deal with these issues,neither Lumintop,how can people like me still trust the groupbuys from now on?

Someone posted recently the last round stopped at 1149.I think that is wrong info. I believe it to be 1049 IIRC.

Yep…. your case is surely a mystery that begs answers. :+1: And it seems the only one that can give the answers (Neal) has gone into silent mode.

I guess time will tell how it plays out. Neal will either surface with answers or I guess TA will implement Plan B…… whatever that turns out to be.

As far as “trusting future group buys”…. I guess someone will have to decide that for themselves. Personally I will have no problem if it will be run as good as this one.
OH, I know it has not been perfect in a few areas…… but all considered it has gone pretty darn smooth in the big scheme of things.

I also think Lumintop is bringing a top notch light in a professional manner. They have sure upheld their end.

I was on the list but told to wait for an email to order. I still have not received that email. Will I still get one?
