Which is rather interesting. My in-laws sent us something from Japan a few weeks ago, and told us they don't have the slow shipping option anymore, so 5 weeks is really long! But I'm glad you got them!!!!

klrman: ChibiM:If they are directly from Japan you should be good.
Got them finally after 5 weeks. They came charged and turbo last much longer with these in my EA81 than the alkaline batteries. They really seem to be worth them money.

I got them from an ebay seller in Japan, but it did finally arrive thankfully!
Was looking at your where to buy list but nothing really for Canada. Your Amazon US link will ship to Canada but still ends up being nearly double the price of the Japanese ebay sellers for eneloop. Tried your NL link too but same thing, way too expensive with shipping.

In Canada, I usually buy them on-line from Costco:
Shop Costco.ca for electronics, computers, furniture, outdoor living, appliances, jewellery and more. Enjoy low warehouse prices on name-brands products delivered to your door.
They usually go on sale about once a year. They’re more expensive than in the US (as almost everything is), but still not a bad deal considering how long they last.
They’re also in some of the stores in Canada, but come with a charger kit. If all you want is the batteries, on-line is a better deal.
Thanks Walkintothelight for helping out klrman.

Wow, I wish I would have known that before ordering from Japan. Even those Costco prices are good for Canada, thanks!!!

Yes, and BTW, the Costco Eneloops are made in Japan. So, you don’t have to worry about getting the Chinese Eneloops like some places might sell.

I bookmarked that link to keep an eye out for that once a year deal you mentioned and will buy quite a few more from Costco, thanks again!

Oh… OK. I did not know that. Thank you for the info HKJ!!

I thought its performance was on par with older generations of Eneloops, not the current generation.

I do not know if they keep production lines with the old process running, but I added a “about” to my sentence to avoid any quibble about possible minor differences.
Very well done video, thank you!! :+1:

But these are Eneloop Pros though, with fewer charge cycles.
Thanks for the warning about the eBay fakes.
I am starting to need more AAAs, dagnabbit.

So they are. Does IKEA have one that is comparable to a regular Eneloop??
