Sorry, the production delays are still in effect, that never went away. There were simply more orders then they thought that had not been shipped yet.

The reflectors are still the limiting factor, it just so happens that this week the lenses were also used up.

TA i’ve filled the survey as soon as it was available a few weeks back but seeing as we finally have some communication with Neal do you think I should wait a little longer for a response or just sent him a pm and redo the survey ?

No need to redo the survey. It is just taking time to sort through it all. We still need to organize the survey for lumintop to deal with some of the issues.

I would give it a few more days and see what happens first (excluding the weekend when I don’t expect much to happen).

I only get a few hours each night where both mine and China’s waking hours overlap to really work on stuff.

This BLF GT saga is almost over for me.

Few days back i opened paypal case with request for refund since my light was not sent with the last 50 or so lights.

Today Neal refunded me the second payment…

…but i have no way of getting back my money from the initial deposit, 17 or so dollars. So what is my option here? I do not plan on giving MY money to some random guy/company just because they where unable to deliver what was promised.

Any advice?

Simply request a refund from Neal, I am sure he will give it.

Although most likely not until his account has been fixed. Right now he can only accept payments and send refunds (your deposit payment is too old for a refund to be sent, he will have to send you a new payment). He can not transfer any funds or buy anything with his account besides this (fairly common practice for paypal).

It could take a little while for his account to be sorted out, paypal is not known for being quick in these situations.

The problem here is that my Paypal account is limited to only sending payments. I can not receive money on it. The only way i can get money back is via the Paypal refund option.

But as we know the first payment is not eligible for refund via the Paypal system anymore. That is the major issue here.

TA do You know how many survey ware send to Neal and how many are solved now?

Because accounts from Macedonia and few other countries as well are limited. The only option paypal gives us is paying for merchandise and that is all. We don’t even have F&F option for sending money.

There are way to get unlimited accounts with fake address and stuff but i am pretty sure that it is not legal to do it that way.

Hmm, that is problem and I don’t see a viable solution for it. I know for experience it is impossible to send a refund for a payment this old.

Why can’t you accept payments?

I don’t have the exact numbers, we are still putting the list together, the survey was combined with other non-GT products on the back end and we are now having to split out the GT issues to be dealt with separately.

I would say around 30, maybe 40 surveys were filled out. I am not sure how many have been solved yet. Just that I know more and more are being taken care of each day. I have been helping with some of them myself when possible.

Neal, glad to see you back. Hopefully there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Regarding those getting antsy about running out of PayPal protection, and it seems like there are really just a few, what if Neal were to issue refunds then immediately (and directly) issue an invoice for the same amount to the same person/email? If they pay, they stay on the list. If they dont, they are done. This would refresh the buyer protection, keep people who paid eligible to get a light, and not generate new purchase pages that could leak out.
Just an idea, though It would be extra time for Neal and I don’t know if any PP issues would prevent it. I’m fortunate to have gotten a GT a while back, but I feel for those still waiting.

Your second order has not been paid yet correct? Then it is fine, simply do not pay for the light when the PM is sent out.
