ThruNite Catapult V6 XHP35 HI

That’s so unreal. Thrunite’s been offering neutral white for a very long time for pretty much every model they have. Love the diamond pattern tube. :sunglasses:

I’ll be ordering one

I am curious about a direct comparison to Utorch UT02

Price is fine, but CW I pass.

Is this light a candidate for Narsil?

Thanks

I clicked on one of your links in your signature and this what I get:

You received an incorrect message. This is a link to my photo located on the server of my internet provider. It has no threats.

See if something changes, as I change the png file to jpg. How it works will replace all links (Link Nitecore).

komeko, I get the same thing:

"www.strony.toya.net.pl has been reported as containing malicious software. You can report a detection problem or ignore the risk and go to this unsafe site." So it's not your picture that's the problem, but the main URL.

komeko, it still gives me the same warning in Chrome on my Mac

Hmmmmm…………Thrunite getting on the “1*26650+XHP35 HI+USB charging port - Wuben/Astrolux/Manker/etc” bandwagon?

I wouldn’t call that light either a thrower or a Catapult. At best a baby catapult.
Just look at the size comparison with the Cata V5, different league altogether.
They should have given it another name.

It looks nice but, no thank you.

I personally would have liked a Catapult V6 with 2x18650 and single XHP35; same form factor as V5 and V3.

I changed the server, so if you can check if it works. Sory for offtop

komeko,

That link works. Clicked on the Thrunite TC20 and the color analysis picture came up.

Me to.

Then they could have driven the emitter harder and get the throw well above 200K and the form factor wold still be “Catapult”.
Better yet: two 20700/21700.

To me it looks like Thrunite is just “going with the flow/hype”.
To bad, they set the standard with the original Catapults, with the TN31/32 line and lately the TN42.
Don’t follow others, design your own.

I was crossing my fingers for an Oslon in there.

Would be nice to have a nw version. Cw is good for throw and also bad. If there’s moisture or dust in the air just going to see a wall of light. Not to mention it’s harder to make out details with cw at a distance. But manufacturers want to chase the high lumens that’s what the masses want

komeko, it’s now working. Whatever you did fixed it.

I changed the server. Thanks

For a thrower I think the extra output of the CW is lost in the lower visibility of the “white wash out” effect. But it might just be my old eyes.
