Latest Knives, Pliers in Chinese Market.

New Model Name but not new knife

MC-715 (Old Model: 1615)

New Model, Multi Tool(Window Breaker, Bottle opener )

David, I saw the Chris Reeve F32 on your aliexpress page - what can you say about it? It looks like a large SRM 710 with the clip reversed. How is the quality, steel compared with SRM?

the steel and finish is not as good as SRM. but you can't expect too much for a knife at that price.

I didn't expect it to be SRM quality. Perhaps SR Columbia quality? That seems like the next step down, which I still find acceptable.

Latest Y-start Hunting Kit

feature with a knife sharpener and a mini fixed blade hides inside the handle (magnet stick)

to help finsh small jobs that big fixed blade can't do.

yes, something like the SR quality

This new SRM 788 with strange blade shape, anyone willing to explain how on earth such blade shape could be used in everyday situations?

Because if there is reasonable explanation for such weird blade, I might get one myself!

And BTW, how long is the blade in it and how well it fits in ones hands when used?

This is just beautiful, pitty such knives are not allowed for import over here, care to share the price for this one :)?

+1

Does anyone have a size comparison photo of this and EL01A?

It's pretty much the same as the 700 series of SRM.... here more pics and sizes.

David, thanks for the info. I don't mean to be a bore, and I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but what is going on with the most popular 700 series SRMs? Why is there limited or no availability for the SS-710 and 763? Are they in-between production runs, or undergoing changes?

Thanks! Had to order one..

there are run of stock for the monent.

but I think SRM will reproduce them soon, they are not going stop popular models like 710,GB(GA)-763

Fucking Government hres puts much more striction on knives in here, especially for long folding knife and fixed blade.

for they Y-start hunting kit, the retail price in Chinese Market is around 66 USD.

Thanks David. I understand the issues with large folders and fixed blades, but still cannot understand how they could let their most popular small folders run out of stock for so long.

Have a little more patience, Cool

Hello David, can you tell me something about the quality of Tekun knives for example about this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tekut-LK5033E-Axis-Lock-Aluminum-Handle-Pocket-Folding-Knife-Outdoor-Accessory-/160647908515?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item25675c8ca3

I have some Enlan/Bee/Sanrenmu knives and two of Navy Knife. Do the Tekun have a similar quality?

What about this ceramic balde folder

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tekut-LK5070-SPIKE-White-Ceramic-Blade-Aluminum-Handle-Pocket-EDC-Folding-Knife-/160705698017?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item256ace58e1

Is this useful? Ceramic as a kitch knife is ok, but as a fodler? Doesn't it brake easily?

For the Tekut LK5033E, there is no money clip, no lanyand hole, not suit for EDC; for the Aluminum Handle, it is not textured, so it feels not safe to hold it (it may slip when your hand sweats).

for the Ceramic Material, yes, it is easier to break than steel . but it is as sharp as steel (or more sharper) and it lasts longer for cutting. and it never rust. so it depends on where you are going to use it.

thankyou ashuang0731. I love this thread for your knife updates!

u r welcome . glad to share
