*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

That sounds like a pretty awesome tweak, TK! :+1: I would find a feature like that quite useful in the regular lighting modes as well.

BTW, do you think it would be feasible to add a fade-to-off at the end of the timer? It seems there may be some increased capability for adding some less common features with this driver. I’ve been meaning to do some reading on the coding end of driver configuration, but haven’t gotten that far yet and am unsure if the impact on memory of the additional coding would be impossible.

It already has a sunset mode, which fades from ~15 lm to zero over a period of about an hour, then shuts itself off.

For the candle, I’ll probably make it stay steady until the last minute or so, then fade and snuff out.

I am in for one

Is the deadline for the project already known?
Holidays and trips to the forest are approaching…

Good work takes time,as i remember dbsar switched jobs so he hasn’t got much time at the moment.

I understand. The perfect thing must arise for a long time.
I am waiting patiently.

Looks like Haikelite kind of beat everyone to the punch. (of sorts). Charger head, with lantern emitters. Can also work as a power bank. Screws onto their flashlight battery tubes.

That looks more like a mule than a lantern…

I guess, if it didn’t have a diffuser like most lanterns have, and mules don’t have
