It probably makes a big difference that HK was a British colony until 1997 and I suspect a lot of the mail to Europe from HK ends up passing through the UK. It is going to take at least a couple of days more from the UK to Spain.

At least I'd assume that traditional links would only be changed if there were a good reason to do so.

But then I know nothing at all about how mail is routed so this is just guessing.

You receive orders shipped on 14 October and I dont receive 3 orders shipped on 21 and 23 SEPTEMBER!!!!!! also some orders shipped from early october hasnt arrived!!!!!!!!!  This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!! Almost 2 months from shippment date and nothing!!!!! Cry

However, small and light items shipped on mid-october have arrived. I dont understand the way of work of HKP!!!!!!!!!

Maybe this will confort you a bit. All my orders from LT have been already shipped from 5 to 10 days ago. Well, not a single one have left HK yet (at least for tracked ones). Not to mention that order date was around 15 days ago for some.

Sorry,  thanks for your support, but that not confort me.

I have a tracked item with shippment date of 20 Oct, which had been as "item xxx is being proccessed to delivery to addresese" from 20 to 31 october. Now shows "item was posted on 20 Oct". Simple as that..... and no clues of when is going to leave HK. And the item was waiting for supplier almost a month........... I beleive is next to waste the 45 days paypal user protection........

This one left DX 10-10 and was finally leaving HK the 10-23. But I still didn't get the 801 from ebay, some old orders from KD, DX, BC and the BLFs from Manafont.

DX have just emailed me to tell me that part of an order from 25th July has now been shipped! Unfortunately their database won't tell me what it is just now. I wonder how long it'll take HK Post to get them here, I mean it has taken DX 102 days months to source them, so HKP won't have to work very hard to beat that.

Out of curiosity, how long was your longest wait for an item from when you ordered it to when you got it?

I think mine was about a month and a week.

About 4 months. And it was sent EMS but from the Chinese mainland which always seems to be a lot slower.

22 days LT untracked. Fastest one 7 or 8 days (counting sunday) after placing order on DX.

LT usually takes a whole week more than dx. Based on about 5-6 orders.

Now that is a change from the old KD.

The founders of KD and DX used to run a store together Axshop if memory serves), then they split - this would have been 4-5 years ago.

Mine are still on hold from 23-25 cotober...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slk6zeM4Of8&feature=related <- i suspect this is the usual package treatment. Anyone wonders why the bubblewrap packaging is like it has been through vietnam in times of war after arriving?

I always make a mistake....surprise myself for Christmas with some flashlight. I not learn after several years of experience with HKP, DX, KAI etc. Christmas season is s..ck! (and always will be worse)
HKP not grow up to the task....over several years

I have 3 registered airmail "on the way" yet:

1. The item (xxxx) was posted on 16-Nov-2010 .......
2. The item (xxxx) was posted on 18-Nov-2010 .......
3. The item (xxxx) was posted on 19-Nov-2010 .......
4. "packaging" on KD, so that's not the HKP "fault".

And what i read on HKP?!:
http://www.hongkongpost.com/eng/publications/notices/2010/20101116b/inde...

I hope my packages arrives before 2011.

Tracked parcels arrive to my house in 4 to 7 natural days after leaving HK. (Now, not leaving,,,,)

Untracked parcels arrive to my house in 10 to 30 natural days from shipping date. But i order rarely untracked parcels.

Another problem for me, that not one package arrive to customs addressed to me. Now landing 3-4-5 packages, at once.
If the packages arrives 2-3 days apart, i have better chance i don't must pay tax, becuse one package "as gift" and "lower value" scrape through customs. (Yes, those damn EU  customs laws + my country regulation) All packages outside from EU.........

With this HKP delays, i will gained new customs experiences.
What can we do?! Waiting....waiting...and pray:o)

Sorry for bad english!

I noticed, that those packages which tracking number begin RB leave Hongkong faster after posting date.
Which begin with RT (typically DX) are still "was posted on.."
I don't know what that means, but i have now five package "on way" and only those DX packages are still at HKP.
Possible  this "RT-RB thing" may not mean anything.

Some update:
1. The item (RT...) was posted on 16-Nov-2010   from DX /ordered on 11/11/2010)
2. The item (RB...) left Hongkong on 21-Nov-2010 from ITC-Shop /ordered on 12/11/2010, posted on 18/11/2010)
3. The item (RT...) was posted on 19-Nov-2010 from DX /ordered on 11/11/2010)
4. The item (RB...) will leave Hongkong on 26-Nov-2010 from KAI /ordered 11/11/2010, posted on 21/11/2010)
5. The item (RB...) will leave Hongkong on 26-Nov-2010 from "another online store" /ordered 19/11/2010, posted on 20/11/2010)

As you see, on 21/10/2010 was a flight to my country. But only "non DX" packages are on this flight.

The formerly ordered packages still not have a date when will leave Hongkong.

Interesting...

Maybe DX don't pay to HKP?! Maybe DX posting so many packages/day, (Christmas season) that HKP realy have not enough capacity?! I do not think so, but it would be nice to know.
Or this thing is a fortuitous......

From 4. Nov. are 500  post on DX forum about this "thing"
I'm not against DX! I was always  satisfied with DX! I don't want make panic mood! But, all is not well between HKP and DX, in my opinion.

Ohh  those lucky days when i ordered something from DX and i received after a couple days. The fastest was in this year. Ordered on 06/07/2010, posted on 08/07/2010, left Hongkong 10/07/2010, and after 4 days on my letter-box.

Now, waiting, waiting, pray!:o) (Sorry for the long wailing post!)

That's because they don't lie with the shipping date as others do.

Received yesterday some untracked stuff from an ebay's seller, 30 days from shipping date, usually 12-15 to my home, registered last 6-8 from 'left' notice.

I'm waiting my first two purchases from FP surprisingly shipped both in 24 hrs, the bad news this was almost 45 days ago, ha ha

Received some days ago in 'normal'  timing a torch from the much hated here Neverbuy, a ZY-C84 Q5 which appear to hold the real stuff, much brighter than one bought before at half the current. After reading the comments here just ban that seller from my list.

As a side note I think most sellers are good enough before the first problem arise, doa, not received and such, the good ones are the ones who past that issue with decency.
