Whats up with Neal? Is he a reliable and honest guy?
I send him payment for short GT tube and some batteries he had from GT sale, he answered every question, but after my payment itās like he disappear, no response for a week, āhey I am sorry I was sick, could not workā or āI am sorry I forgot to send your order.ā thats OK for me, it happens, but not a single word! Thatās not a way you do business.
Sadly this is how China does business, It is standard practice to just disappear instead of explaining why. I will never understand it myself.
I hope to hear from him on Monday.
It is indeed how they do business. Iāve run into the same issues buying off Ali, and a few other Chinese vendors. Itās the nature of the beast.
Oh, and Jimmy007, if anyone should be ashamed, it should be you for acting like a 2 y/o. Iāve sat silently and watched TA and a number of other GT team members take flack from a bunch of whiny twits for months now. This is cutting edge tech, being created by VERY talented people. If youāve never dealt with China, and expect it to be like Amazon, you are sadly, sadly mistaken. Want to get what looks to be an awesome flashlight? Have patience, be respectful, and relax. Things will be taken care of.

Iām sorry Jimmy I donāt know you or your circumstanceā¦ but you are WAY out of line. Nobody took a dump in your cheerios intentionally. This is a group of people that are having fun doing what they like doing. It is not a ācompanyā that is trying to make a buck off of you. We are trying to obtain something NOT readily available at the lowest price possible by grouping together in a co-op to give us the ability to have FUN with something āweā designed and want (read: alot of people who VOLUNTEERED their time, knowledge and experience - not you!). I myself had nothing to do with any of the multitude of primary tasks that were required to get the GT to so many people. If you are so concerned about your MONEY maybe they should give you a refund now and you can keep your money. They are too nice to do that thoughā¦except, of course, at your request. Iāll buy your light if nobody down the list wants it. You obviously need your money for something far more important. Texas Ace has been working his @zz off for something he loves and you were warned that there were likely to be problems. You knew you would be a guinea pig to EVENTUALLY get something you wanted and were prepared to pay in advance for. If you read the forum you see that they have been fixing everything they can and dealing with a ton of crazy bs from lots of random sources. You may have fallen at the far end of the bell curve but you have no reason to attack personally. If it were me Iād refund your money and escort you swiftly through the door, windowā¦wall, whatever. There are plenty of people willing to wait for these very patient, courteous and helpful gentlemen who donāt get paid to eat other peopleās shtuff. This has been roughly a $300,000.00 deal and they get almost nothing for doing what I consider a nightmare task. Yes, a few of them run side businesses and will make a few dollars peripherallyā¦but nothing compared to the enormous task that they have set themselves and are succeeding at to OUR benefit!!! Yes, yours is delayed, but you knew that could happen so shut it, do as they ask and somebody will eventually fix it. As far as I can tell from various searches there has never been even a breath of anything bad coming out of BLF and for that I thank Texas Ace and Neal and all the other forum members that have contributed and have done so much for so little! And that too frequently without gratitude. Maybe it should be a rule that personal attacks will be dealt with by being dropped to the last number in the group buy. 1500 in your case.

My GT was delivered two days ago. Registered shipping from the first batch. Long wait but amazing light. Massive.
Two boxes were in good shape and had more fillings that in some of the earlier registered shipping boxes.

Itās been a month since my BLF was dispatched and there are no updates. I might be okay with that but the tracking shows that it has been dispatched to another country (Indonesia) instead of my current country (India).
Iāve shot a mail to Neal but havenāt got a reply in a week.
Make sure you fill out the survey to Neal on post #1. Hopefully it is going to the correct address. If not, he needs to check into it.
Well, 3 days later and itās now $280.
So after waiting another 20 days we should be below $ 157.- 
It seems some ripoff lights are coming to market so they have loosened up their death grip on the $325 price point.
Still trying to see what we can work out.
Also the test PMās were sent this weekend, just waiting on a few details and we will be sending the GB PMās to everyone!
I want to get answers on the remaining issues before we go live. It looks like they are doing basically what I figured, and I canāt really blame them.
They started a package trace on the missing packages and are waiting for the results to come back before reshipping the orders. Since these are so expensive they really do not want to risk shipping a light twice and having both show up.
A package trace has maybe a 30-40% chance of knocking something loose so this makes sense. They already found a few that are still making progress, just slow progress. I told Neal to send updates to everyone he has more information about.
Were the test PMās for everyone left or just a few people? Cause I didnāt get one and I am on this next batch
