Texas_Ace MT09R Modding thread, 20k+ lumens, 80CRI, can start fires? Yes please.

Yes… modded acebeam or olight 21000 lumen light will cost around $335-$350… yes you are saving money… TA driver is the best.

Don’t let this influence you but these lights can be dangerous. :smiling_imp:

STOP IT!!!

ummm…… Soooo… how long can max 22k lumen run for until it steps down or gets too hot to hold…
My Emisar D4 sets my lunch box on fire and paper cup on fire with 4300 lumen… I can’t imagine the heat on 22k lumen lol

My daughter is going to college next year and any work TA does I have arranged to be sure that you still get the 2 year warranty...

The biggest reason is if these don't sell while I'm in Arizona then I will have to pay TA for all of the left over drivers and the price will go back to retail which is $175.00 and that's with stock emitters.

Which even using the stock emitters and TA's driver you still get 20k lumen output. So right now is the time 120.00 for the light that is around 40 percent off. Then 20 bucks for TA's driver and even stock emitters you got 20k lumen and can actually set your morning newspaper on fire of you choose to.

Almost forgot I have the only remaining stock of the 2 best selling colors that will not be available again even after the new driver comes out in the light stock...

Whew that's as well as I can do...

I have not timed it myself but I am guessing around ~60-90 seconds depending on what you calibrate the thermal settings to in turbo.

With the ramp at 50% you should get about twice that or a bit more.

It gets properly hot for sure but it can also shed the heat surprisingly well. I have a “Mega M6” I build and it gets hot faster and stays hot much longer even though it is almost half the lumens.

The nice thing is you can simply turn down the power if the heat is too much.

Here are comparable lights for comparison:

Acebeam X80 $299 - 25k advertised lumens (OTF 21-23k)

Skylumen Acebeam X45VN https://skylumen.com/collections/v54-lights/products/acebeam-x45vn-flood-search-light-pre-order $350 - 25k lumens

” Skylumen Olight X7VN”:https://skylumen.com/collections/v54-lights/products/olight-x7vn-maurader-pop-can-king $335 - 21k lumens

Per Newlumen’s ceiling bounce comparisons, his MT09R TA is 24k lumens relative to Skylumen measurements. I think the MT09R TA not only beats those in price, I think it beats them in quality considering you get to choose better looking 80 CRI NW tint and a better ramping UI. In contrast, the Acebeam X80 UI is just awful.

Hey lol don't leave me out... I'm knocking 40 percent off these.

I think the MT09R has the best beam. Don’t forget the beam profile people, it’s really amazing. Of course it’s subjective… :sunglasses:

Do me a favor and post that on the old gro oh p buy thread too plesse.

I really need most of these to sell while I am in Arizona (which is where they are)

Demand was so high when I finally talked Dale into letting go for the last of these colors I thought they would have almost sold out by now...

oh man… that 2 year warranty and approval of modding by HaikeLite… The high CRI and NW…… I can’t…. resist…. :person_facepalming:

That's what I'm hoping...

And guys getting approval to keeping the warranty was extremely hard. But as long as the emitter swap is done by TA and is the correct type of LED 70.2 for a 70.2 model than the warranty stays good.

I also still have 1 35 high. It already has the new TA driver installed and is ready to go. It is a CW version and I can ship it to TA as well for an emitter swap if you so choose.

Thanks for the support.

Would it be gaudy or in bad taste to quote some of these reviews and comparisons in the OP?

Please do post them.. Everyone needs to know that this driver you have designed has made this light a major player and at the currant price no one can beat it when it comes to price and performance.

LOL I am waiting to see you order come across my screen... I will be shipping these lights to TA for any emitter changes as well as the driver install Thursday and Friday. Larger bulk shipments cost me much less than shipping them one at a time...

Nope not at all! Quote all you want. It would be very useful for newcomers that don’t want to read through hundreds or thousands of posts get a cliff note of this thread.

@Texas Ace, why not take a Blue version? Blue is best color, not green.

BTW, is there a way we could mod the TA driver to support 9V emitters, like the new 149AM? Would be quite interesting to see if that was possible with the XHP35 version.

I also just added 4 SC01units that are in this same shipment. In case anyone is interested in the SC01 normal retail is 69.99 and my price is 49.99.

It is a 26650 powered light that had it;s own charging units built in and is a really nice little thrower.

If I remember the range correctly it's 500 meters and a 26650 gives you a nice run time.

I just posted these a couple of minutes ago

https://hesaidshesaidsales.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fhaikelite-sc01

And come on guys take you face from your palm and get these while you can. I am dead serious when I say that these are all of the Blue and Green lights left at all. And the factory will not be making these colors available again for the MT09R.

I almost forgot. This is also the only MT09R lights I can order at all for about 6 to 8 more weeks until the new driver is complete and being factory installed.

So when these are gone so is this price. In 6 to 8 more weeks when they begin shipping the lights with TA's new driver Haikelite will give me no choice in retail pricing. It is called MOP pricing and basically gives the factory the right to say what a dealer has to charge for a product, This is a very common practice.

So the units I have left are not only the last of these 2 colors but the last that I will be able to sell at 40 percent below retail...

Ok what? Good thing I bought the Blue version. Is there a reason there aren’t going to be any flashy colors anymore?

TA I just sent you a message on Skype you may want to have a look at.

Yes, the blue is very nice as well but don’t think I can afford one of each and I do not have any green lights, I used to have some blue ones (although not this nice of a blue).

Electrically it is possible although the 149AM uses a different footprint and I am not sure how you would actually mount the LED in the flashlight. The pads also look very small, I doubt it will preform as good when overdriven as well sadly just from a quick glance.
