Non Flashlight orders/received

finally got my button top samsung 30Q from banggood

The 62 Max has adjustable settings for different materials. How well it works, I’m not sure yet.

Happy 75th! Anyway, my drill came with (2) 2 amp hour batteries. They last long enough for my needs. I figured the 5 amp hour batteries will be a better choice since I have to repair my fence which will require a lot of cutting. I paid $107.99 for 2 brand new genuine Dewalts.

That was a great price!
I am considering the 60V Chainsaw with my 1.2 acre and wind in the willows

I love the Dewalt Flex Tools! I didn’t know they made a Chainsaw in their Flex Tool line.

Ah yes, got one myself a couple of weeks ago. Posted this picture on a different thread.

Some of you might be able to guess the light I was aiming at. I'm still experimenting with emissivity charts available on the net.

You got the 63 max plus. Mine is just the 63 max. Yours is more feature rich, and slightly more accurate than mine.
BTW, I downloaded Fluke’s Emissivity Chart… Thanks!

Nice multimeter Pete.

I ordered 8 NiCd 4/5 Sub C cells to rebuild two battery packs for a Metabo Powermaxx Powerstation Driver/Drill

Thanks. It’s no Fluke, but I like the 22,000 count resolution, and out of the box, the accuracy is fantastic, according to my little voltage reference rig. I like that it has a simple calibration pot, in case it loses accuracy over time.

Pete, I like Uni-T products. I have the UT210E AC/DC Clamp. You can’t beat it for the price.

I’ve got one of these as well. Agreed.

One of these

(brass bleeder valve for coolant system)

And several of these (magnetic oil, transmission and differential sump plug; most sumps already have magnets build in, but as you know these screws add huge street cred and add massive wheel horse power  )

I had to buy something and didn’t have a need for flashlight parts.

I checked it out because of your post… And it’s not leaving my head for a while I guess (until I purchase it I guess  ). HKJ just posted a review of a high end Japanese DMM… That sucker costs like $1000, haha no thank you.
Maybe I should get a UNI-T DMM and clamp meter too.

Depending on your budget, Brymen 867S is a really nice one for about $175 - fast, accurate, great protection, and 53,000 count. HKJ posted a review of the higher end Brymen 869S not long ago, but the two are very similar.

But for $35, that UT61E was hard to pass.

I have a UT61E for 6 months now and I like it a lot. I like the fact that when you switch it on the first click takes you to DC measurement. It’s quick with continuity checking to

Got my second Dewalt charger today. I also ordered 2 more 5 amp hour batteries. I’m retiring my Dewalt XRP 18 volt Nicad tools. Nicad batteries suck! I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on replacment Nicad batteries over the coarse of the last 18 years for those out of date tools. No more!

Nice collection. I have two 20V Dewalt drills and really put them through the ringer but they are still working without glitches. Dropped them numerous times from the roof too without problems.

Thanks. I’ve been a tool freak most of my life. I do my best to keep them as close to mint as possible. Here’s a Milwaukee drill I’ve owned for 35 years. It still looks close to new. Believe it or not, it does get used on occasion.

I love old school quality equipment where for example the box and trays are painted metal, whereas today they would have been made from cast plastic. Not that cast plastic is bad, it’s just the vibe of the old days is nice to experience if you know what I mean.
