No you are NOT.
I still didn’t recived my 2 pcs of GT.
There is also a few others who didn’t recived GT or recived damaged and waiting for replacement.
I’m so tired of waiting until the lumintop sends a flashlight, so I found friends in Guangzhou who sent me a flashlight on the ground, the benefit of Kazakhstan and China bordering each other. And the wooden crate my friends did to me)
I have small problem with my gt, or at least I think it shouldn’t be like that.
One cell holder has lower positive pole than the other, meaning if I put it in the back (far side from head) there is no contact between cell holders.
If I put it in front (near head) then both cell holders have contact and light works.
Each carrier has a raised and a lowered center contact (both positive). The raised contact always goes forward towards the head. There should also be arrows on the carrier legs that point toward the head.
Is there a way you can post a picture of your carriers?
That is a very strange issue, not sure what that would happen. You could take the top of the carrier with the low button and see what it looks like. Be sure you put it back together correctly though or the cells will short out.
It’s hard for me to explain, not the best with english.
I understand how carriers work and how to put them in flashlight.
Problem is one raised center contact is lower than the other and not making contact to lowered center contact
You can see left is lower than right.
Here you can see “shorter” raised contact carrier bottom on left and top on right.
It is visible on left picture negative contact is flat to each other, and on right picture positive contact is raising carrier up. If you push right combination together both positive and negative have contact (positive spring compress). On left picture positive not touching.
I hope you can understand what I try to explain.
TA
I will try to disassemble it if I find right tools.
I just noticed when I tried to charge batteries one carrier was full charge.
The raised end of the carrier is spring loaded and you should be able to push down on both the brass piece and the black plastic piece. They are both pushed up with spring pressure.
Hehe … I got exactly the same message from Leo. I wonder when will the next information be?
Strange that you did not get a package in Belgium. According to some people from the Team, only Poles did not get parcels so the wine is in Poland, not in any packaging, soaked parcels etc
I finally found my small screwdriver set in garage and disassembled carrier.
I also found the problem. On both carriers black plastic piece is really tight fit inside aluminium part. Spring is unable to push it up if pressed down and it’s stopping brass piece from going all the way up. Somehow on one carrier black piece was pushed down and caused problem. I pushed it up all the way now on both carriers and as I see they don’t contact anything so no chance of pushing down (only if pressed with fingers when changing cells). Brass piece now makes good contact and spring works on it.
On 11/02/2018 both te 2 packages (Head & Tube) are shipped.
A few weeks later I recieved only 1 package, the head in a terrible damaged carton box packed by the master him self…Mr.???.
The second package is never arrived and according the tracking it is still in transit.(73 days)
I think it is lost or soaked in the cargo of a large ship on it’s route to Europe.
No respons from anyone who is involved with the sell of the GT, except a standard answer via email from a guy who calls himself LEO.
Make sure it’s stays springy. Maybe you have a metal file, nail file or sand paper and can reduce the diameter of the black plastic piece a tiny bit so it never gets stuck again.
